Hi,When I am generating Code with CubeMX, it will delete my complete Src folder. I always have to recover it. For that reason it will also not generate any new c files once i add a new peripheral.Tried this on Mac and Windows with latest CubeMx version (4.26.1) and i get the same behaviour in both. Can anybody help? Thanks

I saw that this issue was reported back in 4.* days, but I'm experiencing this now with 6.1.1. The Core/Src folder is removed even though Core/Inc files are regenerated. Is there a version that is known to work?

I'm working on a project that requires very strict control of the toolchain itself. We must specify exact versions of toolchain components as part of our documentation and production process. The problem I'm having is we started work at Stm cube ide 1.4.0, which was later patched to 1.4.2. My team updated their installs through the IDE's integrated update service. But now I need to bring a few new development PC's online with identical toolchains. I can download 1.4.0 from the website, but I cannot find this patch anywhere. Is this patch available for download? Is it on a server somewhere? How long is it guaranteed to remain accessible? If I can't get this patch as a download, what would you recommend for an application like mine where strict control of the toolchain version must be maintained for a long time (potentially *decades*). Should I stick to downloadable major releases only?

Hi all, I made a project using VSCode but I need to transfer it to CubeIDE, but it is not recognized by cubeIDE so I can't open it, is there any method of migrating from VScode to CubeIDE rather than create from the beginning. Thanks

I am porting some code from stm32f105 to stm32f205.stm32f105´s memory is erased in 64 pages of 2kbytes (i can handle this)stm32f205´s memory is erased in 12 sectors of 42kbytes!!? Hello, iam trying to implement more or less the same example as with the virtualUARTs with multiple Endpoints just with the rpmsg_char driver and plain endpoints without virtualUART on M4 side. Iam struggling to get multiple Endpoints to work. One is working fine and the other is created as well. But i cant send and receive data through the second endpoint. Does anyone have an example with multiple endpoints with the rpmsg_char driver?

Hi,I am trying to calibrate my IMU on a custom board using X-CUBE-MEMS package. However there is no support for the LSM9DS1 part. I've seen on the community that the alternative for the Accelerometer+Gyroscope is the LSM303AGR library. However, this only offers support for the I2C bus. In my custom board, the IMU is connected to the uC through a SPI bus.Is there any alternative? Also, which library should I use to calibrate the magnetometer? Thanks in advance,Pedro Machado

I am trying to configure STM32H742 to convert 3 different input channels (3, 5, 16) in an ADC (1) . I have achieved to convert just one channel with a sampling frequency of 1MHz, seeing that 1 million samples are converted per second. But when I add new inputs to convert I can not see that the converted sampled are scaling correctly. I am wondering that it may be an ADC limitation for the sampling frequencies. So which is the maximum sampling frequency of the ADC 1? I can not find it on the reference manual.Thank you all.

I have LSM6DSO sensor. I want to use fsm. In application note, I did not understand how thresh1 is calculated . For example it is written that B7AEh (-0.480)3C00h (1.000)27AEh (0.030)34CDh (0.300)I did not understand how this conversion is done.

I use MCU STM32L462ET6TR. When I set CPHA=1, the NSS signal is always at low. When CPHA=0, NSS signal works normally. There is my initialization code:void MX_SPI1_Init(void) { hspi1.Instance = SPI1; hspi1.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi1.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi1.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; hspi1.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi1.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_1EDGE; // NSS SIGNAL WORKS NORMALLY // hspi1.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_2EDGE; // NSS SIGNAL DOESN'T WORK hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_HARD_OUTPUT; hspi1.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_16; hspi1.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT_MSB; hspi1.Init.TIMode = SPI_TIMODE_DISABLE; hspi1.Init.CRCCalculation = SPI_CRCCALCULATION_DISABLE; hspi1.Init.CRCPolynomial = 7; hspi1.Init.CRCLength = SPI_CRC_LENGTH_DATASIZE; hspi1.Init.NSSPMode = SPI_NSS_PULSE_ENABLE; if (HAL_SPI_Init(&hspi1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } }Why CPHA bit affects the NSS signal?

Why did you guys remove the feature of resetting the timer for LSM6DSO IMU? It was available in LSM6DS3 by setting AAh in TIMESTAMP2_REG (42h).How do we reset the timestamp value in FIFO (LSM6DSO chip)?

I am using ST25RU3993-HPEV. I have tested with GUI application on USB and it is working. Now I want to run HOST application on UART so what changes needs to be done on EVAL to connect on UART and which UART should use?

In one of the projects I am working on, we need to develop an RFID reader tester. I was hoping can we use ST25RU3993 for sweeping from 800MHz to 1000MHz. If yes are we supposed to just change the VCO & PLL block register the contents.

Hello,I have multiple flexbutton and I'd like to change the border size of the button which is pressed only.In GFX interraction panel I could of course excecute C++ code like flexButtonName.setBorderSize(5); but I'd like to have it in a generic function, with a flexbutton pointer, like this :void Screen1ViewBase::flexButtonCallbackHandler(const touchgfx::AbstractButtonContainer& src) { if (&src == &flexButtonName) { //InteractionName Screen1View::changeBorderSize(&src); // } }   // Screen1View.cpp changeBorderSize(const touchgfx::TextButtonStyle<touchgfx::BoxClickButton>& src) { src.setBorderSize(5); // I got build error: "incomplete type 'Screen1View' used in nested name specifier" }But I got an error "incomplete type 'Screen1View' used in nested name specifier", it seems that I failed my cast somewhere. Thanks

HiI have the file Ver1.bin (2,230,040 KB). I can't program the STM32F746G-DISCO using STM32CubeProgrammer 2.6.0 or STM32 ST-LINK Utility with it. Why?RegardsAndrzej

Hello,I'm currently evaluating SPC58EC-DISP. I tried a few examples in SPC5-STUDIO and successfully send/read signals via CAN and Serial. Next, I would like to create an application (Authentication with PKI) to verify the device trying to communicate with my SPC58EC-DISP.Admittedly, I never worked with any library in depth on the Authentication with PKI topic. But I tried a bit with OpenSSL and have read about WolfSSL that may have what I need.My (newbie) questions are:Are there any built-in library already that support Authentication with PKI or SSL/TLS in SPC5-STUDIO that I can use? I searched, but could not find much, please point to the source if you think i'm missing out on something. How can I build/import extra library like OpenSSL or WolfSSL for my task if there is no available SSL/TLS library in SPC5-STUDIO? Thank you,An Nguyen

we recently bought a M24LR-DISCOVERY evaluation kit.I can able to write and read using ST25 app.For our application we have to develop our our own app. For that i need NFC read & write command code format from ST25 app to M24LR-DISCOVERY.When i try to write "hi" to M24LR04E using ISO15693 & NDEF message i get E1 40 40 01 03 00 D1 01 05 54 02 65 6E 68 69 FE - so what is the meaning of all these bytes?I just want to write M24LR04E tag & read from M24LR04E tag via NFC. Anybody please help me this command code format. Plz reply me as soon as possible.

I'm confused regarding the importance of Quad-SPI for Ethernet communication. I see that pins PH2/PH3 were configured for QSPI without it being activated for either core. I tested leaving these pins in GPIO_Analog mode and still detected UDP broadcasts from the example code. Are these Quad-SPI pin configurations optional? How to create project for STM32H7 with Ethernet and LwIP stack working

Is there any information available on recommended loop filter values for 50kHz and 25kHz PLL reference frequencies?  We have info for 100 and 125kHz (see attached). Barring that, the phase detector + charge pump as a unit (V/ radians) would be helpful.

In the schematic for EVAL Kit why we have used Inductors and why we have given Buffer positive supply, { internally regulated } to RF Output of both Internal Amplified and also for Low power Amplifier. PFA image attached.Secondly why they have used the 82pF capacitor before inputting every IC?

I am trying to enable some GPIO as external interrupts and have run the GPIO example where the user button is set as an interrupt. Is there any resources that show what GPIO can be used as external interrupts? For example, I would like to set one of the Arduino GPIO as an external interrupt pin if possible.

Hi, I'm working on a project in c++ and every time the IDE generates main.c instead of updating my main.cpp file. The project is set to C++, but still it generates main.c. That's very annoying. Can i fix this?

Hello!I am connecting my nucleo to my computer through the user usb. I have set FDMOD and received the USBRST message and initialized the endpoint, but after i receive ENUMDNE I never receive the RXFLVL interrupt. Here is the output of dmesg on my computer:[ 6544.461644] usb 1-10: new full-speed USB device number 56 using xhci_hcd [ 6544.589741] usb 1-10: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 6544.829707] usb 1-10: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 6545.065646] usb 1-10: new full-speed USB device number 57 using xhci_hcd [ 6545.197659] usb 1-10: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 6545.433727] usb 1-10: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 6545.541712] usb usb1-port10: attempt power cycle [ 6546.197666] usb 1-10: new full-speed USB device number 58 using xhci_hcd [ 6546.197770] usb 1-10: Device not responding to setup address. My application only needs to send data once every few minutes during which time i can save power by turning off the radio. I don't see any examples that do it, they don't even have a deinit function.

UM2133 says the default value of histogram_ranging_gain_factor should be 0.971. When I get the data for VL53L1_gain_calibration_data_t->histogram_ranging_gain_factor, I get an integer "1987". The data type listed in the typedef in vl53l1_ll_def.h is uint16_t. Is this some fixed point encoding? I don't see any comments in the code giving clues. All I have is the user manual (UM2133). I haven't found a full API documentation of all the functions and their outputs and data types. Does this documentation exist somewhere?
