Hello,I am working with STC3115 and I would like to know, the maximum charging current that I can measure with it?

hi,i would like to know if there is an API for configuring, starting and stopping the timers (TIM1, TIM2, etc.) i'm interested in setting up a timer as a PWM device. i've come across documentation that talks about functions that can be used to set up a timer as a PWM device (e.g., pwm_apply_state, pwm_config, pwm_enable, etc.) but i can't find any documentation that describes these functions, the name of the library they are in or the header file to include. no can i find examples on how to use the API. i found examples on adding nodes to a device tree and how to use the sysfs interface. but, i would prefer to use a library if it exists.thank you, vincent j. buonassisi

Hello all. I am trying to set up a continuously running timer to use to set of interrupts at specific counts of the timer. So the user of this thing would say "setAlarm(n)" and at timer=n an interrupt goes off. But I also want interrupts for the ccr to be off when no alarm is set. The end use case is a bit more complicated, I try to use the 32bit timer to emulate a 64bit timer and use the overflow interrupt to increment an "extra" 32 bit word. So the ISR is a bit complicated. The ISR currently looks like this: uint32_t hw = counter_high_word; if (tim->SR & 0x1 ) { /* This indicates and update event (overflow?) */ /* TODO: Not 100% certain this is definitely an overflow. Couldn't it be other "events"? */ uint32_t sr = tim->SR; sr &= 0x1 & STM32_TIM_DIER_IRQ_MASK; tim->SR = ~sr; /* clear update event flag */     counter_high_word++;   if (alarm.active) { if (counter_high_word == alarm.alarm_time >> 32) { tim->CCR[0] = (uint32_t)al

I tried using the Jpeg Loader here: Loading Images at Runtime | TouchGFX Documentationbut when I use it it causes a hardfault in JPEGFileLoader::readJPEGFile -> jpeg_start_decompress -> master_selection -> jinit_d_main_controller -> (line 482) main = (my_main_ptr)(*cinfo->mem->alloc_small) ((j_common_ptr) cinfo, JPOOL_IMAGE,SIZEOF(my_main_controller));I found that the hardfault here is caused by the master_selection calling jinit_d_coef_controller  before jinit_d_main_controller, and in this function (jinit_d_coef_controller ) the "cinfo" variable gets destroyed in an "ERREXIT" (D_MULTISCAN_FILES_SUPPORTED is not defined in any file, and even if I define it manually it still hardfaults).I don't know what the functions are actually supposed to do, and I don't know how to fix this.Is there a workaround? or a new Loader file? (I downloaded the zip file from the documentation)I'm attaching the hardfaulted function - jinit_d_main_controller, the jinit_d_coef_cont

I am trying to set up ethernet on stm32h745iit6.I bare ethernet project from the H7 examples and use (low_level_output) func from ethernetif.cpp.I send buffer, located 0x24000008, where dma can access. And ethernet always send only init string of buffer. When I try to change content of the buf from code, its changes (as i saw in debug) at location 0x24000008. But in wireshark i still recieving init content of the value (string, that no longer exist). When i change content of the buffer from debug at the same location, its ok and recieve correct string with all changes, that was made in debug. Also a watch on the descriptor field DESC0, there 0x24000008, where located my buf.Is there any explanation of this wierd moment? How i should change content of buf so that it works correctly ? Maybe data cashes somewere in DMA or MTL?

Hello,I am using the STM32L4R5ZI-P dev board.I have configured USB as a device only with the CDC class, where APP_TX_DATA_SIZE is 2048, USBD_MAX_STR_DESC_SIZ is 65536.When I am transmitting a data buffer of 512 bytes continuously for 1 millisecond then I am getting 1536 bytes, but when transmitting a data buffer of 64 bytes then I am getting for the first 1 ms 320 bytes then onwards 384 bytes rest of the ms.Question:Why I am getting 1536 bytes for 512 bytes data buffer transmission and only 384 bytes for 64 bytes data buffer transmission?

Hello,I'm having some problems using Unico-GUI to configure the MLC of an LSM6DSOX. I'm trying to develop an application using four filters (actually, the same filter applied on the XYZ and V signals of the Accelerometer and Gyroscope), but the Unico software doesn't allow me to select more than 31 features.I'm using Unico-GUI (STSW-MKI109M) on a Macintosh machine with macOS Monterey Version 12.0.1. I have tried both versions of Unico-GUI (9.11.0 and 9.10.0), and I have always gotten the same problem. How can I configure the software to select a higher number of features? Thanks for your help!

I have recently purchased 4 X-Nucleo-IHM03A1 stepper motor driver expansion board. In my current project I am planning to use an FPGA to send SPI commands to the 4 boards to control 4 stepper motors to move simultaneously. May I know if there is any recommended method for us to synchronize the movement of all the 4 motors?

I am trying to use the UCPD peripheral on a STM32G4 (later on STM32G0) target to detect when a debug accessory device has been plugged into the USB-C port. This is going to be used in factory test. The issue I'm having is the dead battery pull downs are causing erroneous readings in the TYPEC_VSTATE_CCx registers.I noticed when I uncheck the "Dead Battery Signals" box in STM32CubeIDE (UCPD Mode and Configuration window), the issue goes away. I am pulling up the CC pins with a 56k ohm resistor to 5V to indicate a standard USB power source. The CC voltage with the "Dead Battery Signals" disabled is 0.432V, as would be expected with a 5.1k Rd. With "Dead Battery Signals" enabled, this voltage goes up to 0.644V and the TYPEC_VSTATE_CCx registers start reporting erroneous values (ie: not vRd-USB, as per table 428 in RM0440).I then measured the voltage when the MCU was unpowered. It was around 0.62V, which I suppose is fine because a USB-C Source should recognize this as a Sink connected. Thi

Hello,I connected USB CN7 of STM32MP157A-DK1 to a PC with MS Windows.Sadly, the PC failed to find an RNDIS driver with:USB\VID_1D6B&PID_0104&MI_00\6&1164AF84&0&0000I tried to search for a driver, but I could not find any good. Both Windows XP and Windows 7 showed this.Where can I get a driver or an .inf for that?Thank you very much for your time.Sincerely.

Hi,I am trying to interface eeprom module with STM32F0308-Disco board using CUBE IDE - HAL library. SPI communication is not working properly, I am getting random values while trying to read the Eeprom ID.While debugging the code I found that the SPE bit in CR1 register is not set to 1 even after initialization. Hi,I am a little confused at the datasheet for the IIS3DWB bandwidth. I clearly can see that the maximum frequency is 6.3kHz. However, is there a minimum measurable frequency? On the pg.1 features summary is says "Ultra-wide and flat frequency response range: from dc to 6 kHz (±3 dB point)". However, on pg.5 in the Mechanical Characteristics table, it lists the Signal bandwidth (BW) range from 5kHz(min) to 6.3kHz(max). Is this minimum correct? Is this only for the +-3dB tolerance? Or is this tolerance valid over the entire range from 0Hz to 6.3kHz? Datasheet link for reference: https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/iis3dwb.pdf I appreciate the help and support! Thanks,Jared

I am implementing a bootloader that will support OTA installation of a new BLE stack if needed. I want to be able to command the FUS to install a new stack and I am utilizing the delete WS and FW upgrade SHCI commands to do this. I am always deleting the stack and programming a new stack from scratch (along with erasing the flash). Currently I am programming in the stack .bin file using JLINK or STM32 programming tools and when tell my bootloader (via UART) to do the FW upgrade, a few resets happen and then the status command that comes back is FUS_STATE_ERROR_IMG_CORRUPT. Every time, regardless of how I program the stack or where I program the stack in flash. Ive even tried new, never used boards to ensure that its not something with keys. Is there something that needs to happen to the stack image before it gets programmed into flash? Ive read through AN5185 several times and I am following the instructions.FUS version is 1.2.0
