I would like to use queues without sacrificing the simulator.I know how to use queues with the extern keyword, but it disables the simulator because TouchGFX doesn't see header and source files. I have edited the Makefile to include the headers, but I am left with two issues.First issue is including reent.h:If I don't include the FreeRTOS.h I get this error:This is what I modified in the Makefile thus far:project_path := $(call qs,$(abspath $(call sq,$(makefile_path)../../..))) ADDITIONAL_SOURCES := ADDITIONAL_INCLUDE_PATHS := $(project_path)/Core/Inc \ $(project_path)/STM32CubeIDE/Application/User \ $(project_path)/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/include \ $(project_path)/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/portable/GCC/ARM_CM4F \ $(project_path)/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/CMSIS_RTOS_V2 \ ADDITIONAL_LIBRARY_PATHS := ADDITIONAL_LIBRARIES :=Also including the cmsis_os2.c file which contains the definitions for the structures and functions I'm using in the

Hi,I'm trying to get started with the B-U585I-IOT02A board, and I have trouble to debug an application on the board. So far I managed to do the following:Connected via USB to the CN8 USB port on the board to my Windows 11 machine.Tried the out-of-the-box B-U585I-IOT02A compiled demo binary, which works as expected.Updated ST-LINK firmware on the board via the STSW-LINK007 tool.Installed the ST-LINK USB driver on my Windows 11 machine via the STSW-LINK009 tool.Installed STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.9.0.Imported the example project IOT_HTTP_WebServer that is the source for the out-of-the-box application on the board.Made a small change to the application and built it in Debug mode.Used STM32CubeProgrammer v2.10.0 to upload the .hex file to the board.Verified that my change appears in the application. So far so good. What I cannot get to work is uploading and debugging an application from STM32CubeIDE. I'm trying to do that with the IOT_HTTP_WebServer project. So the first question is: Should it

Hello,I am trying to access the MX25LM NOR-Flash chip on the B-U585I-IOT02A board via OCTOSPI2. The nCS pin is connected to PI5. However, attempting to enabe the peripheral clock for IO port I by setting Bit 8 (GPIOIEN) of register RCC_AHB2ENR1 fails (I.e. bit 8 remains at value 0). For all other IO ports (A-H) it works as expected.Any idea what might cause this behaviour?Note: The code is running as a device driver under the Apache NuttX RTOS in the non-secure world. TrustedFirmware-M (from STM32CubeU5 v1.0.2) is running on the secure side.Any help is very appreciated.Bye,Michael

I have an unused 32F769I-DISCO board which I think needs firmware programming - it sits with a flashing red LED when power is applied. The only support I can find is for the 32F769NI-DISCO board which is slightly different and the "Getting started" video implies it should be pre-programmed. Can anyone point me at a firmware download and documentation for the 32F769I?

Are there any plans that more usbx host classes are implemented, micorsoft gives more classes than currently available in the Azure rtos package of ST (F4). I would need a usb host that supports a hub with a cdc device.

Hi ST,We are trying to integrate a ST25ru3993 with a new µC. We managed to detect and list tags using inventoryGen2() command, but we are struggling with the gen2ReadFromTag() one:In the doxygen embedded in gen2.h code, we can see the following example:n = gen2SearchForTags(tags+1, 1, 0, continueAlways, 1); if(n == 0) return; //Pick one of the tags based on the contents of tags. Here we use the very first tag if(gen2ReadFromTag(tags+0, MEM_USER, 0, 2, buf)) return; The gen2SearchForTags() command outputs a list of tags with type STUHFL_T_InventoryTag that doesn't have the necessary handle saved to communicate later with the tags, and which is not compatible with the tag_t structure needed by gen2ReadFromTag.We tried to add the handle to the STUHFL_T_InventoryTag structure and to create a tag_t based on what was saved in the tags of type STUHFL_T_InventoryTag , but we did not manage to call gen2ReadFromTag successfully, we always have error code -33 (STUHFL_ERR_CHIP_NORESP).Remark: When

Hi everyone, I am using stm32mp157f-dk2 with ecosystem 3.1.I am interested to store the board information of my future product using the OTP featureAfter reading the reference manual, ch3 and 4, I have the following doubtDo I need any extra hardware to program the OTP bit/word? If not, how can I actually program those bit/word?Is it possible to read the OTP information in linux file system? Mapping them as some virtual files for example. What extra information do I need to include in the device tree to enable OTP? I assume the default project didn't include that.Any suggestions are welcomeRegards, Leung@Kevin HUBER

Hi,Can anyone direct me to an example project or code that shows how I can use an AJAX call to access information from an STM32H743 (or similar) web server?I have SSI and CGI running with LWIP but I would like to update the browser without refreshing the complete page. Thanks.

Good afternoon! I am trying to establish the transmission of data via SPI to the display with DMA. I can't find a summary of the colors used in CubeIDE Pinout View. What is the meaning of these different colors? Thanks,

I am having problems with the ANT7-ST25DV04K module. What happens is that when I bring the mobile close to the module to read it, the NFC of the mobile is activated and deactivated all the time and never finishes reading the card. I'm using the ST25 NFC Tag app, but I can't do anything because it doesn't detect the module for the reason I mentioned before.Any solution?

The databrief for this kit doesn't explicitly state that it comes with an antenna, just "SMA female connector".Can someone confirm if it ships with an antenna? If not, any suggestions for one that fits it?

Hello ST,We are working with the ST25RU3993-HPEV board to evaluate the RFID chip.We have performed measurement of the output level on the antenna port and below are the obtained results:For the internal PA:Output level set using ST GUI / Expected output power / Measured output power / Voltage measured0 / 20 dBm / 17.9 dBm / 0.81 V-3 / 17 dBm / 16.064 dBm / 0.78 V-6 / 14 dBm / 14.023 dBm / 0.69 V-9 / 11 dBm / 11.653 dBm / 0.63 V-12 / 8 dBm / 9.18 dBm / 0.56 VFor the external PA:Output level set using ST GUI / Expected output power / Measured output power / Voltage measured0 / 30 dBm / 38.52 dBm / 1.27 V-3 / 17 dBm / 37.85 dBm / 1.27 V-6 / 14 dBm / 35.66 dBm / 1.21 V-9 / 11dBm / 32.86 dBm / 1.14 V-12 / 8dBm / 30.27 dBm / 1.06 VAre the expected output power correct for both internal and external power amplifier?It seems to us that the obtained results from the internal PA configuration are close to the expected one but we are surprised by the obtained measures with the external amplifier.

Hi, I was wondering if you could attach the exposed center pad of the L6234 IC to GND to get better heat dissipation throughout the PCB?The datasheet does not mention anything about the exposed center pad. Thanks!Best regards Niklas Cooke

How do I enter a password on the NFC Tap iOS app when the keyboard covers the action buttons?I'm trying to password protect a ST25TA02KB using NFT Tap for iOS, and having some difficulty. First, it's giving me a, "This is not a type 4A tag" error. If I dismiss that and try to forge ahead and set a password, the iOS keyboard covers up the password entry fields and action buttons (see attached image). So my questions are:Has anyone encountered this and is there a solution? How is a password properly entered in these fields?I have a newborn's knowledge of NFCs, so please be kind. Thanks.
