Hello, I'm working with the NUCLEO-G0B1RE, controlling some motors.In order to correctly control motor I need to synchronize to timers. For this, I chose to use TIM3 and TIM15 TIM15 on Slave-Gated modeMy issue is that when the TIM3 and TIM15 start running they have nearly, but not the same, CNT.However, after some time the TIM3 and TIM15 are clearly not synch. They seem to follow each other but with a difference of ~700 ticks. Clock Tree is not the same for both Timers, but the frequency is configured to be the same.I attach some print screens of the configuration. I can post completly the code, or clock tree...etc. if required.Thank you for your help!

I would like to know how I can get in touch with the technical support team of ST.

Hi,I have a project where we use the STM32WB55 with the ST25R3911B as NFC module for OOB pairing.I couldn't find any example for OOB pairing flow.My start point is the p2p_server example and I can see there are:BleApplicationContext.BleApplicationContext_legacy.bleSecurityParam.OOB_DataBleApplicationContext.BleApplicationContext_legacy.bleSecurityParam.OOB_Data_Presentwhich I assume are relevant for my cause.After reading AN5289 I also can tell there are:aci_gap_set_oob_data()aci_gap_get_oob_data() - which in my case always return an array of '0' at the But I can't figure how to connect the dots. is there any example for OOB?when I am invoking get oob data as below I always get OOB_Data array of '0', why? uint8_t Address_Type = 0; uint8_t Address[6]; // initial value is just for seeing it gets override uint8_t OOB_Data[16] = { 0x01, 0x02, 0x03 }; uint8_t OOB_Data_Len; uint8_t getOobDataRes = aci_gap_get_oob_data(0x01, &Address_Type, Address, &OOB_Data_Len, OOB_Data);If there

Hi,I have previously been using the CubeIDE for STM32 developement. Recently I switched to using VScode with makefiles. This has been a very positive upgrade in my opinion, but today I met a problem. I tried to include the CMSIS DSP library to my project. I use the cubeMX software to generate the makefiles for me. In my makefile I defined the following LDFLAGS:#######################################   # LDFLAGS   #######################################   # link script   LDSCRIPT = STM32H750VBTx_FLASH.ld     # libraries   LIBS = -lc -lm -lnosys -larm_cortexM7lfsp_math   LIBDIR = -Ldsp/lib   LDFLAGS = $(MCU) -specs=nano.specs -T$(LDSCRIPT) $(LIBDIR) $(LIBS) -Wl,-Map=$(BUILD_DIR)/$(TARGET).map,--cref -Wl,--gc-sections -static While trying to compile I get the following error:Drivers/CMSIS/Include/cmsis_gcc.h:1852:57: error: conflicting types for '__QSUB'   1852 | __attribute__((always_inline)) __STATIC_INLINE int32_t __QSUB( int32_t op1,

Hello,In SUBGHZ generic pack FSK, how can I configure CRC to ITU-T CRC8 : X8+X2+X+1the only information I have find was in the datasheet of Semtech SX1261/2, and it was just about IBM CRC and CCIT CRC.What about other configurations ?

During debugging of a dual core application everything works fine for the CM4 core debug config and afterwards starting the program. As soon as I try to add the debug config for CM0+ the following error occurs:  STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. Version 6.1.0 Copyright (c) 2022, STMicroelectronics. All rights reserved.   Starting server with the following options: Persistent Mode : Disabled Logging Level : 1 Listen Port Number : 61235 Status Refresh Delay : 15s Verbose Mode : Disabled SWD Debug : Enabled     Error in initializing ST-LINK device. Reason: ST-LINK: Could not verify ST device! Abort connection.I can reproduce the error using Nucleo-WL55JC1 with example dual core projects, so it is at least not my code. Tried onboard ST-link v3 and external STLINK V3SET.I verified my config following this tutorial.CubeMonitor and CubeProgrammer can connect without any issues.

Hi everyone,I've been trying to reprogram some modules made to transmit some CAN data frames to a car when plugged in the OBD socket. Basically the MCU is programmed to send some frames and I'd like to replace these frames with others ones.Here is a picture of the device as well as a schematic I made :The MCU is a STM32F103C8T6 and the CAN transceiver shows the writing "NXP A1040/C DBA000 D64.1" on it. When I type that in Google it returns the TJA1040 high speed CAN transceiver : https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/TJA1040.pdf.So I did a bit of research and started my project. Here is the configuration I used in MX :  I first started by trying to use the buzzer to test the basics and it works. Then my next step was to use the CAN loopback mode to try and see if I could send/receive messages. This is where I struggle. I joined the whole code below. It compiles and runs (I use a ST link to debug). It just never gets into the interrupt function that is supposed to activate the buz

Hi supporter, I have two boards, one is my custom board and another is dk2. Those boards are not support high speed of mmc1. The mmc2 is into high speed and has 50Mhz clock.Below is some info about mmc1 and mmc2 on dk2 board.root@stm32mp1:~# cat /sys/kernel/debug/mmc0/ios clock: 25000000 Hz actual clock: 24750000 Hz vdd: 21 (3.3 ~ 3.4 V) bus mode: 2 (push-pull) chip select: 0 (don't care) power mode: 2 (on) bus width: 2 (4 bits) timing spec: 0 (legacy) signal voltage: 0 (3.30 V) driver type: 0 (driver type B) root@stm32mp1:~# cat /sys/kernel/debug/mmc1/ios clock: 50000000 Hz actual clock: 49500000 Hz vdd: 21 (3.3 ~ 3.4 V) bus mode: 2 (push-pull) chip select: 0 (don't care) power mode: 2 (on) bus width: 2 (4 bits) timing spec: 2 (sd high-speed) signal voltage: 0 (3.30 V) driver type: 0 (driver type B) root@stm32mp1:~# mount -t debugfs debugfs /mnt/ root@stm32mp1:~# cat /mnt/^C root@stm32mp1:~# dmesg| grep mmc [ 0.000000] Kernel command line: root=/dev/mmcblk0p6 rootwait rw console=t

Hi everyone.I am working on SMBus communication and i want to calculate PEC (packet error code) value. PEC value is using CRC-8 checksum with 0x07 polynomial. I want to use CRC peripheral in STM32G031F6 for PEC calculate. Cubemx settings are below.And code is here;CRC_Data[0] = 0x16; CRC_Data[1] = 0x0f; CRC_Data[2] = 0x17; CRC_Data[3] = 0xe9; CRC_Data[4] = 0x03; SMBus_PEC = HAL_CRC_Calculate (&hcrc, CRC_Data, 5);SMBus_PEC value is 0x54 but this is wrong. It must be 0xE8. I am calculating with online CRC calculation from this site ==> https://www.lddgo.net/en/encrypt/crcI read from the SMBus PEC value is also 0xE8. Also, when I calculate it manually, i get same value.What is the problem?Have a nice day.

Hello,Does anybody know how I can implement SUBGHZ_Phy library:without: HAL library, sequencer, advance trace and debuggerthank you,Sincerely.

Hello,we've connected A0-A2 and VSS with ground. VDD and RESET are connected to supply voltage (+5V).The system does only work with 3V3 not +5V, but we don't see the problem how it's not going to work with the higher voltage.with regardsJulius

Iam using STM32L452RC. I want my controller to go in sleep mode when received an interrupt from USB CDC. While exploring I got these two lines from data sheet The Normal Sleep mode stops the processor clock, but all peripherals keep on running. On the STM32 clock tree, that means:■ FCLK (Cortex Clock) stops■ All the other activated clocks runThis says FCLK (Cortex Clock) stops. Will this affect the timers. I use TIM2 for my project which is a general purpose timer.

HI,I have a custom board with FMC NOR memory S29GL512S11 controlled by STM32H7A3. I created one external loader to flash the NOR memory and works wells. When I try to use the same configurations with the SYSCLK 280MHz and FMC clock 140MHz I can't have any access to the memory.I try to find one way to calculate the right timings for both devices to configure the FMC module, but with the memory datasheet and RM0455 I don't understand how I can make the right configuration.At the moment I have this configuration: hnor.Instance = FMC_NORSRAM_DEVICE; hnor.Extended = FMC_NORSRAM_EXTENDED_DEVICE; hnor.Init.NSBank = FMC_NORSRAM_BANK1; //HAL_NOR_MspInit(&hnor); //HAL_NOR_DeInit(&hnor);   NOR_Timing.AddressSetupTime = 7; NOR_Timing.AddressHoldTime = 15; NOR_Timing.DataSetupTime = 2; NOR_Timing.BusTurnAroundDuration = 3; NOR_Timing.CLKDivision = 16; NOR_Timing.DataLatency = 17; NOR_Timing.AccessMode = FMC_ACCESS_MODE_B;   hnor.Init.NSBank = FMC_NORSRAM_BANK1; hnor

Configuring the NUCLEO-L452RE via HAL using nothing but the default values for the board in STM32CUBEIDE and setting PA8 as the master clock output to monitor HSI16, the clock frequency at PA8 is 16MHz. When configuration is done via LL (Project Manager -> Advanced Settings), the clock frequency at PA8 is 14.7MHz. The ICSCR register has these values:HAL: HSITRIM 0x0 HSICAL 0x9bLL: HSITRIM 0X10 HSICAL 0X6bThe Reference manual shows that the HSICAL value is read only, so I assume it should be loaded at reset by the hardware, and not under software control. I need to set the HSICAL to the correct value while using LL. How can I do this? Note that by setting the HSITRIM to its maximum value only brings the HSI16 up to 15.4MHz while the HSICAL value is 0x6b.

So I planned to Control PWM by using PULSE register. so I wrote one function which will modify the Dutycycle by using PULSE register. But on both channel I get the same duty cycle. I want to generate two different duty cycle with high resolution how can I generate?

When filling the struct in my apptypedef struct { uint32_t RangingProfile; uint32_t TimingBudget; /*!< Expressed in milliseconds */ uint32_t Frequency; /*!< Expressed in Hz */ uint32_t EnableAmbient; /*!< Enable: 1, Disable: 0 */ uint32_t EnableSignal; /*!< Enable: 1, Disable: 0 */ } RANGING_SENSOR_ProfileConfig_t;I am a bit confused about the TimingBudget in it.I followed function calls starting in the nucleo examples atVL53L5A1_RANGING_SENSOR_ConfigProfile(i, &Profile);And this ends up assigning the TimingBudget into a variable named integration_time !integration_time = pConfig->TimingBudget;later I miss the footprints of this integration_time when the api sends its value to a memory_buffer with the function "vl53l5cx_dci_replace_data".Can you confirm this integration_time is the one used in autonomous ranging mode?Then, in continuous mode, if I want to increase the timing budget I must just set up the proper ranging frequency, disregarding the Timing Budget v

i am reading GPIO PIN using bool X[n]; X[1] = (GPIOA->IDR >> 1)&1;X[2] = (GPIOA->IDR >> 4)&1;now i want to inverse reading bit because of pull up i am getting inverse output in X[n].exampleX[1] = (GPIOA->IDR >> 1)&1; gives 1 but i want 0How can i do this ?X[1] != (GPIOA->IDR >> 1)&1; gives warningvalue computed but not used [-Wunused-value}

I am describing my approach as below:What we did:1) We are using the STM32MP157F-EV1 board (No other board is connected for this exercise, lines are open!)2) We are using OpenSTLinux(kernel:5.4) and we are using the firmware which was suggested under the "getting started" guide.What we would like to achieve:1) Want to use SPI1 interface on M4 (alongside RTOS support) and want to use PZ0, PZ1, PZ2, PZ3 Pins only (due to design limitations!)Could you please guide me from here to enable the SPI1 on the M4 side?We have already tried with the default SPI example but It seems the clock is not getting generated. We want to use only a production mode not an engineering one.Let me know if you need any other information/clarification.Thank you in advance and hoping a useful response!!BR,Ashvin
