I have set the clock for the ADC to 51.2MHz by PLL2P with the DIV set as seen below. Without reprogramming the STM32H7A3 I would like to change DIVN2 to x16 and DIVP2 to /32 to give me 4MHz clock to the ADC, but I can not seem to find where these are set in the code.I Have checked the auto-generated code within main.c and there are no options for x32 and /5. Are DIVN2 and DIVP2 set outside of main.c, and if so where? Also is there anything else I need to know/do when changing the clock division via the code?Thank you for any helpCurrent clock configuration that is uploaded to the microcontroller, but DIVN2 and DIVP2 will needed to be changed.

If so, can you tell me what LCD you targeted?

Hi, I have STM32F407 and trying to write log file (in main loop) with FATFS R0.12c over SDIO. But after few writes I get error:FR_LOCKED // (16) The operation is rejected according to the file sharing policyPreviously I was using STM32F103 and was writing to log file using same algorithm with FATFS R0.11 over SPI without this issue. So I suspect the issue should be in "FATFS R0.12c" or "SDIO"?What could be the issue and how could I fix this?

Hello STM32 Community.I need your support, I am trying to do a small project where I need to use for example a var where PWM frequency is saved, as I need to calculate the period I just write a division 1/test_float and the result must be the period.... but the result is zero...I am using a Blue pill board, STM32F103 and STM32Cube IDE.I run this small example in order to show you my issue. float test_float =0; test_float = 1/10;    // ====> test_float=0 test_float = 1/1000;   // ====> test_float=0 test_float = 1/10000000; // ====> test_float=0 test_float = 0.0000001;  // ====> test_float= 9.9999999999999995e-008  that is OKWhy first four lines are equal to zero?, last line (test_float = 0.0000001; ) it has the right value ...100 nsany comment/advice is welcomeregardsAlfredo

Hi,I am using STM32f413zh i build the code in release mode. After that i put break points on inside the code some places, None of the break point is hit. But i flash the binary file the code was running. Please give guidance for hit the code on main() or inside the code.Thankyou.

The error occurred while reading a UART interface (heavy load @ 115200 baud) byte by byte (with HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart1, &com_uartRxSignBuffer, 1) ). MCU: STM32F302VB ST firmware version : STM32Cube_FW_F3_V1.11.2Before the RXNE interrupt is disabled when 1 byte is received, the interrupt can be re-triggered by another received byte.If this happens when huart->RxXferCount is already counted down to 0, huart->RxXferCount is counted down again. An underflow occurs, obviously the RXNE interrupt is not disabled, and the following 65535 bytes are written to com_uartRxSignBuffer[0 ... 65535].Almost certainly this will overwrite a pointer. By accessing it, an invalid memory address is accessed, resulting in a hard fault. The code (I have commented the places where this underflow occurs) that triggered this error (stm32f3xx_hal_uart.c line 3800): /* Check that a Rx process is ongoing */ if (huart->RxState == HAL_UART_STATE_BUSY_RX) { uhdata = (uint16_t) READ_REG(huart-&g

Hello guys, I am working with STM32MP157C-DK2 board and Tapo C200 camera(ONVIF). I would like to display the IP camera live feed through the LCD screen. How can I do that? I'm still a newbie, so step-by-step process or any link towards a good documentation regarding this would be nice :)

Hello everyone,I'm using the STM32H7 and the new fully reworked ethernet driver along with the LWIP and FreeRTOS for sending and receiving the UDP packets. The issue is first two packets get corrupted when sending. I don't send the UDP packet with zeroes in the payload, but the first sent packet is filled with zeroes.I've tried placing a delay in case the Ethernet is not properly initialized but that didn't fix anything.I suspect that the memory gets corrupted, but cannot prove anything.Does anybody know what could be the potential issue here? Thanks

I have downloaded all the needed software and st-link (and update) but Unicleo_GUI does not recognize the expansion board. In my device manager, the virtual COM is there. I am able to connect to the right port, but only if I tick the box that lists all the COM ports. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I am working on ST25RU3993 STUHFL SDK package v3.1.0.0 to run the STUHFL_demo applications on a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B V1.2 device. Following the instructions specified in the user manual (UM2618), I compiled the middleware source files on RPi 3B using the makefile provided. The installed gcc version and the kernel version of RPi 3 which I've worked on are as follows, respectively:gcc (Debian 10.2.1-6) 10.2.1 20210110Linux raspberrypi 5.15.32-v8+ #1538 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 31 19:40:39 BST 2022 aarch64 GNU/LinuxThen, I compiled STUHFL_demo application as well without any errors although there are some casting and conversion warnings. And, I was able to generate the executable named as STUHFL_demo.out. Upon running the executable, the ST25RU3993-HPEV board is recognized successfully but after a while, occurs a segmentation fault and the application exits. I also ran Python script named STUHFL_demo.py after placing the libSTUHFL.so file to the appropriate path. Unfortunately, I enc

Hello,On my project I want to change font of a TextArea according to some value.First of all I created a topography to apply in TouchGFX.I guess this is the good way to do.Secondly I wondering how I can apply it on my TextArea ? How find the typography name and how to apply it ? I tried something like that :Cont_LM_Simple_2_txt_lift_current_kg.setTypedText(touchgfx::TypedText());But I didn't not managed to find how to set up my new typography.[EDIT] Code insert

Hello, I'm working with an STM32G05, on a very simple custom board. I expose both USARTs to external headers.USART1 seems to be operating fine - in that I can send/receive data. However, USART2 is not. When I inspected the TX line I discovered it was low, even at boot.I check for anything that might be pulling it to ground, and there isn't anything on the board itself. Is there something with the processor that could be causing this?

I'm trying to piece together the post-build process for flash integrity check using CRC. I'm running on an STM32F777.So far I've been following:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000B9vdDC/how-can-i-calculate-crc-of-image-in-post-buildand https://www.eevblog.com/forum/microcontrollers/stm32-hex-file-signing-with-crc/andhttps://github.com/ethanhuanginst/STM32CubeIDE-Workshop-2019/tree/master/hands-on/06_F746-DISCO-CRCBut I'm seeing an error (warning?) that these guides don't mention and I haven't been able to find an explanation elsewhere:warning: The STM32 filter uses 4-byte alignment,  but unaligned data is present. Use a "--fill 0xNN --within <input>  --range-padding 4" filter *before* the STM32 filter to fix this problem. See  srec_info(1) for how to see the data ranges.I've tried adding the changes suggested by the error message, but they throw additional errors and it feels like a rabbit hole. What's causing this unaligned data? Can I/shou

Hello,I'm trying to do the memory position jump using this code:JumpAddress = *(__IO uint32_t*) (APPLICATION_ADDRESS + 4); Jump_To_Application = (pFunction) JumpAddress; __set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t*) (APPLICATION_ADDRESS )); Jump_To_Application();I managed to make it work with only one GPIO, but when I add peripherals in the bootloader, it no longer works.I'm trying to de-initialize the peripheral, a UART has this reference (stm32f4xx_hal_uart.c):/** * @brief DeInitializes the UART peripheral. * @param huart Pointer to a UART_HandleTypeDef structure that contains * the configuration information for the specified UART module. * @retval HAL status */ HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_UART_DeInit(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { /* Check the UART handle allocation */ if (huart == NULL) { return HAL_ERROR; }   /* Check the parameters */ assert_param(IS_UART_INSTANCE(huart->Instance));   huart->gState = HAL_UART_STATE_BUSY;   /* Disable the Peripheral */ __HAL_UART

Hello!I am trying to run ping on my board with STM32H745 (similar to NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q). Instead of the standard LAN8742, I have to use KSZ8081RNA. On the advice of @Piranha and @Pavel A. in other branches, I leave almost everything as it is in the LAN8742.c driver, I change only some registers in order for initialization to be successful (I only needed to change the LAN8742_GetLinkState function). I can read and write KSZ8081RNA registers. I see in debugging a link change when connecting/disconnecting an ethernet cable. But ping data packets (ICMP) are still not coming to me. The program does not pass /* Check if descriptor is not owned by DMA */ check (HAL_ETH_Read Data in the file stm32h7xx_hal_et.c line 1063) due to the values of the descriptors heth->RxDescList.RxDesc. It is equal to 0x81000000. In another, working project, it is equal to 0x3401003С.Most likely, I did not fully initialize correctly, because the same project worked on NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q before the changes.

I am capturing an RC PPM signal using an advanced timer with DMA. But now, I want to implement a failsafe in case of a lost connection using only hardware. The closest I got so far is using a separate timer (with pins connected externally) in reset mode, so the counter restarts when an edge is detected. I am using the timer update interrupt to know when the counter period has been reached. This works, except that the act of resetting the counter also triggers this interrupt. I want an interrupt only when there has been no activity on a pin for an amount of time.

Hi guys,I'm struggling with modem communication on embedded system that does few other tasks in realtime. I'm using TCP stack built in modem (Fibocom G510). This seem to be not complicated, but every time I'm doing it - I'm doing it diffrent way and I end up with pretty big and not perfect code, because there is always URC or condition that I have not thought of.To establish TCP socket connection I have to:- reset modem hardware- wait for "SIM READY"- enter pin (optional)- wait for cellular network registration- wait for 2G/3G/4G registration- configure APN- configure other things (optional)- activate internet connection- activate TCP connectionAfter everything is initialized and connected I have to handle many things, including URC (unsolicited result codes):- cellular network connection lost (so AP and TCP connection is also lost)- AP connection lost (so TCP connection is also lost)- TCP connection lost- maybe even SIM LOST scenario- errors- incoming data from TCP socket- incomi
