i use button.setvisible(bool) function but it doesn't happen accordingly. is there an example of how to do it?

I want to download STM32CubeIDE debian version to my laptop. When I click Get Software-->Accept-->Login/Register I get the error " SORRY, PAGE NOT FOUND " . You can see the details at the picture I attached

See attached clocking setup. When I run this, BLE is unreliable. I am running STM32WB55CGU6 in server/peripheral mode. For example, sometimes on power up advertising is occurring and sometimes it does not. And if advertising does work, connecting from my smart phone almost never works. If I change CPU1 to 32MHz, it works great every time and is 100% reliable. I want to run CPU1 at 16MHz to save battery life. I can't run CPU1 any lower because I am running 5 channel ADC DMA constantly at 400kHz sample rate (5x400kHz is 2MHz sample rate for ADC). Is 16MHz on CPU just too slow with all this DMA to SRAM activity? Note that DMA is active but CPU is not doing anything during this time, except servicing BLE.

It looks like the X-CUBEDISPLAY 2.0.1 software package is not supported the QSPI mode configured, it is only supported the SPI or the OSPI mode . The NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q is supported the SPI or QSPI mode only. Anyone know how to configure the X-CUBE-DISPLAY 2.0.1 with the QSPI mode ? Please Help , thanks.

I want to connect 7 LED's on one output in series, using a current of 20 mA. Each LED can have a forward voltage of 3V, which means 7 x 3 = 21 V. I want to use a power supply of 24V.I read in the specifications that the max Vo (Output Voltage) is rated 20V. But how do I interpret this? If I drive my LED's, each taking 3V, the voltage on the output pin will only be 24V - (7 x 3V) = 3V, which is far below the max rated Output Votage. With other words, powering my LED's with a 24 V power rail is not a problem?

HiI am trying to create an application using arduino which will read 4 NDEF text messages where will be stored data needed to establish Wi-Fi connection (host, ssid, password, token).I did try to run example from stduion ST25 library and thats work fine but only for URL NDEF.Do you have any working example to show how to read (not need to write) 4 different text NDEF and use those data as I described above?I would be very gratefull for any help.thank you!

Hi, i'm wondering what is the optimal distance and target reflectance for calibration process function VL53L1_PerformOffsetCalibration()?Also about Xtalk calibration process function VL53L1_PerformSingleTargetXTalkCalibration() shall be feeded with a distance, may this distance parameter be the same as the distance for calibration process? shall it be related to the transparent protective cap thickness?

Hello , Currently, i am working on STM32MP157.  I am trying to change the device tree USB type C configuration into a USB type A host.I've disabled usbotg option under stm32mp1571.dtsi file. I would like to know where i could add USB A host configuration. Thank you

I'm using STM32WB55 and communicating with a program using Windows BLE APIs. My system affords BLE 5.2 version and I know it affords 2 Mbps. However, I don't know how to change the BLE setup in the microcontroller and my program.Currently, my microcontroller can send 244 bytes of data per packet. So, Here is some question. How to change ATT-MTU (number of bytes per packet), Connection Interval, and number of packets. (or a good example for this)Whether, if I change these BLE setups, the BLE setup of the Windows program automatically changed. (or how to change Windows BLE setup using Windows APIs)How to transfer multi packets (or a good example for this)I hope your comments.

Does the controller perform a CRC confirmation check before running the application to check if the firmware is corrupted? If so, where does this happen; in the bootloader or the application itself? What does it do if the CRC turns out to be wrong? Secondly, I've referred the AN3155 and in that the bootloader expects a packet size to be a multiple of 4 while issuing the Write memory command (2nd note below the Write Memory Command flow on Pg. 19 of AN3155). So what if the overall firmware size is not a multiple of 4? How to handle the last firmware packet transaction?

Problem with generating initialization code for ETH. After updating my project written in CubeIDE 1.8.0 and CubeH7 1.9.1 do Cube IDE 1.9.0 and CubeH7 1.10.0 Ethernet stopped working. After short investigation I find out that CubeMX does not generated HAL_ETH_MspInit, this is part where GPIO is configured. When I added missing functions from previous version everything start to work. I also tried to generate new project and it still miss HAL_ETH_MspInit.Is it known issue?Edit:It happens also when I use CubeIDE 1.9.0 and CubeH7 1.9.1, so probably its CubeIDE problem.

Hi,I am currently working on a bluetooth application, on an STM32WB55 microcontroller, to which I have integrated OTA update functionality. As Loader I used the one present in the provided code examples. The application and downloads work properly, my question is: what happens if the binary file I transmit is corrupted? At the moment I have run some tests. However, if I manipulate the binary file by going to delete parts or overwriting others, the trend may change. There are cases where after downloading it remains in the OTA loader and others where the firmware is loaded but the application crashes not allowing the binary to be reloaded. So in the loader present in the examples I think that in addition to the key check there is no check on the validity of the received binary, is there? In that sense how could one proceed? By inserting an additional check in the loader (e.g., CRC) or has some other functionality been provided?Thank you very much

Hello,Is there a way to create a STM32cube IDE project using command line? Thanks,Mohammed

use the X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 DEMO test p2p can't read slave listen , one board poll p2p and other board listen p2p

Hi everyone, I want to organise a little bit more our stm32cube projects. I want to remove Src and Inc folders and create some subfolders. Is it doable without having to use your own Makefile to compile the project ?Thanks in advance for your answer, and sorry if that question has already been answered.Best Regards,Thomas

How do I calculate the SPI CRC-16 in C? I have an STM32F429 sending me SPI data. These are the SPI settings:How do I implement a CRC-16 check implemented in C (not using STM32)?It is 16-bit data with LSB first. Polynomial X1+X3

I have to projects based on FreeRTOS. One is st example and one is generated by me from example .ioc file. All of the files in projects are the same (including FreeRTOS middleware directory). In the projects there is a task called periodically which set flag for the other task using osThreadFlagsSet function. While debugging I've noticed that osThreadFlagsSet function returnes different values. In one project rflags variable has value equal to 1: In the other rflags has some random value:and because of that I think that there might be the problem with setting flag for the task. Not setting the flag causes project work unstable. What might be the issue?

I'm using STM32WL V1.2.0 and trying to generate LoRaWAN End Node FreeRTOS application from .ioc file and make it work but I met some issues with sending data packets periodacally. After succescul join procedure device sends only one data packet. After Tx LmHandlerSend status is LORAMAC_HANDLER_BUSY_ERROR, MacCtx.MacState equals LORAMAC_TX_RUNNING and no more data packets are send. I think that the issue is caused by some part of FreeRTOS because I generated appliaction without it and everything works as expected but I can not find soucre of the problem. Here are steps that I made in order to generate application:- generated project using .ioc Configuration File from LoRaWAN_EndNode_FreeRTOS example- imported BSP driver and added it to include path- replaced generated app_freertos.c file with app_freertos.c file from LoRaWAN_EndNode_FreeRTOS example- inside lora_app.c file filled user code section of SendTxData function with own sending code:static void SendTxData(void) { /* USER CODE

I want to perform a timer interrupt using the output comparison mode. When the frequency is set to 2000Hz, ARR : 20, CCR1 : 25, I think that interrupt does not occur because ARR <CCR1, but interrupt occurs. Why do interrupts occur?

I have a STM32L431CCT6 uC configured with CubeMX (project attached): RTC connected to LSE 32.768 kHz, auto wake up enabled. In my code, I perform the following calls:HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED2_RESET_ESP32_GPIO_Port, LED2_RESET_ESP32_Pin, GPIO_PinState::GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_PWREx_EnableInternalWakeUpLine(); result = HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer(&hrtc, 0x0000FFFF, RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_RTCCLK_DIV2); if(result == HAL_OK) { HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode(); }The uC enters correctly the standby mode, it should wake up after 4 seconds, ma it never does. I tried to check if wake up interrupt is launched, removing the HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode() call, but handler code is never executed (no breakpoint hit, no led blinked).

At the datasheet at figure 7 you use CMC befor connecting it to DC2DC.I connect the PM8805 to DC2DC LTM8027.If I don't put the CMC will it be worng?BRShmuel

Hi,I am working on a functionFS usb gadget based on gmidi. Following the gadget_configfs.rst and using stm32_usbotg_eth_config.sh as starting point was straight forward. After writing the shell script and modifying my device tree configuration to support high-speed OTG in the usb-c port as explained in the USB device tree guide, the usb gadget loaded with no errors and it was recognised by Mac, Windows and Linux hosts as usb-midi. USB-MIDI Shell script:configfs="/sys/kernel/config/usb_gadget" g=g1 #Gadget name c=c.1 #Configuration name d="${configfs}/${g}" #gadget path func_midi=midi.usb0 #Midi Function declaration #Product and Vendor for getting recognised VENDOR_ID="0x1d6b" PRODUCT_ID="0x0104" #Take the serial from the MP1 and make it a serial for our USB MIDI get_mac_address_from_serial_number(){ sha1sum /proc/device-tree/serial-number \ | fold -1 \ | sed -n '1{h;d};2{y/1235679abdef/000444888ccc/;H;d};13{g;s/\n//g;p;q};s/^/:/;N;H;d' } #To call the gadget do_start() { #Call depen

I have downloaded and implemented VL53L4CX driver following the example code. First I opened the provided example with CubeIDE (v1.8.0) and it failed to build. Looks like a fragment of refactoring. Also a source file was missing a struct definition, so I added an include. I don't know if this is where it should be, but it passes the build and the project works (on f411RE nucleo with provided shield). You can find the issue in my repository on github(i can't post link): "prtzl/vl53l4cx-demo", the fix was applied in commit: a40dfe72b40925ff08c20e87ce3c31ecaa8062c4Regards,Matej

Hello everyone,Is there a setting/command to limit the slew rate of I2C signals of a STM32F429ZI-Disco board? I know this feature is available on some Microchip micro-controllers.Thank you.

Hello,I wanted to ask if it would be possible to have the sequence of commands sent and how they should be formatted, by the STM32CubeMonitorRF tool to the board, so possibly I can recreate those steps even with a custom program.Thank you very much
