I'm looking for the .bin file that comes pre-programmed on the board. Anyone know where I can find it? The .zip file on the product page appears to be for a different board/project and also only contains a .hex file. Also if there is source code is available for the project that would be helpful too. Thanks!

I am a beginner and I do according to this video "External Qaspi Loader How to - 05 - Qspi Driver Coding" https://youtu.be/XqCq0xtQmbI I uploaded the project "EXTERNAL QSPI Loader" to stm and now question about .bin fileHow to create a data file to be stored in the Flash memory,which can be a binary file or .hex? For example, I have a project "Hello World" and I want to upload it to external QSPI memory.I need as usual to create a project "Hello world" and just indicate in the stm32CubeIDE settings to create a .bin Or I need to make some additional settings for my "Hello world" project like, MPU configuration!?!And the resulting file, to program Quad-SPI Flash memory using the ST-LINK utility...

I would like, if possible to use the 64 pin package in my design. The problem is that I need a CAN bus and would like to program the chip straight from USB (with potentially needed level shifting?) with the DFU I've heard so much about. I can move CAN_RX to PB8 which is the boot0 pin, but how would that work? Would I need to jumper between the hardware for setting boot0 and the can_rx line from the transceiver? Or do I need to move up to the 80 pin package where CAN_RX /TX have PD0/1 almost entirely to themselves? I guess I'm mostly confused on how the boot0 pin works, it seems to have a lot of alternative uses that hinder its use as a boot selector pin. Like, if there's data coming into the CAN_RX and the MCU turns on at that time and sees a logic high will it think "better go load the program over USB"?

I have a NUCLEO-F302R8 that I am trying to configure via the Workbench, but there are only 5 control boards shown in the new project setup screen:NUCLEO-G071RBNUCLEO-G431RBNUCLEO-G474RESTM32G081B-EVALSTM32G474E-EVALThats not a lot of options, so what am I missing to get support for all the other micros?

I have tried to generate a new project using STM32CubeIDE from scratch (fw V1.27.0, no way to modify it[!!!]) but it does not compile.A lot of descriptors are missing, like there is no resolution for the following:ETH_TxPacketConfig TxConfig; ETH_DMADescTypeDef DMARxDscrTab[ETH_RX_DESC_CNT]; /* Ethernet Rx DMA Descriptors */ ETH_DMADescTypeDef DMATxDscrTab[ETH_TX_DESC_CNT]; /* Ethernet Tx DMA Descriptors */No ETH_TxPacketConfig and ETH_RX_DESC_CNT and ETH_TX_DESC_CNT defined anywhere.Also, there is no HAL_ETH_RMII_MODE defined (for example) anywhere and if I try to resolve these issues, it reveals:ETH_InitTypeDef does not have TxDesc and RxDesc and RxBuffLen members, so practically ethernet layer is completely messed up.

Hello community,Warning, when gerating code for STM32G0B with FW_1.5.0, DMA init function is called after USART2 init function.So the DMA doesn't works !!The only way to resolve this i have found is to cut/paste function in the good order ^^Report the bug if you know how to do that.Have à good day,Thomas.

I'm trying to port the NFC-RFAL library to a smaller Arduino based MCU. I need an extremely minimal setup for retrieving UIDs from ISO15693 tags, so I'm getting rid of 50-80% of the state machines and structures, the whole analogConfig module, maybe anti-collision if I can, etc.In the library, we often call rfalSetAnalogConfig() to set a bunch of registers using a look-up table. Here's a list of calls I might need that I found, scattered across the library.rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_CHIP | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_CHIP_INIT)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_POLL | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_NFCV | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_BITRATE_COMMON | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TX)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_POLL | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_NFCV | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_BITRATE_COMMON | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_RX)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_TECH_CHIP | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_CHIP_POLL_COMMON)); rfalSetAnalogConfig((rfalAnalogConfigId)(RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_POLL | RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_

After upgrading from TouchGFX 4.19.1 to 4.20.0 the TouchController (and maybe also GPIO) does not work anymore.The reason is, that now (after device configuration tool code generation or TouchGFX update) our user code in all files in the directory "target" disappeared. During migration it could be selected do keep the user code - the user code in main.c was kept.Before:/* USER CODE BEGIN STM32TouchController */#include <STM32TouchController.hpp>#include "touch.h"extern I2C_HandleTypeDef hi2c3;extern TS_Driver_t ts_driver;TS_State_t state;void STM32TouchController::init(){  /**   * Initialize touch controller and driver   *   */ ts_driver.Init(); ts_driver.GetFWVersion(&hi2c3,state.fw_version); ts_driver.GetModelName(&hi2c3,state.model_name);}----------------------------Now:/* USER CODE BEGIN STM32TouchController */#include <STM32TouchController.hpp>void STM32TouchController::init(){  /**  &nb

Hello,I am trying to use the LPTIM1 as a timeout counter of 5s. Each timeout the device would read a measured value from a sensor and send it by uplink.I want to trigger the LPTIM1 by software, but I do not know how to do this. This is probably a newbie question: how do I generate the software trigger? I though I would need to write in a register or something, but I can not find the solution.Thanks in advance!

We are developing RFID reader with ST25R3916. As design reference and parts selection, I wonder if we can get the schematic and BOM of ST25R3916-EMVCO. best regardsDai Sai

My package is http://packages.openstlinux.st.com/3.1 ,I cannot update cups.When I install cups,the "cups : Depends: libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.12.20) but 1.12.16-r0.1 is to be installed" appeared,How can I install the libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.12.20) ? Thanks.

I was setting up pin assignments for a project and encountered a conflict between datasheet and reference manual. Can this be resolved?The datasheet for STM32F103x4 STM32F103x6, filename stm32f103t4.pdf, dated 6/1/2015 9:41:55 AM appears to lack an entry for SPI1_SCK under SPI1_REMAP = 1.According to RM0008 diagram 9.3.10 on page 181/1136, tSPI1_REMAP = 1 should connect SPI1_SCK to PB3.In the datasheet Table 5 on page 28/99, PB3 Remap (right-most column) only includes TIM2_CH2 / PB3/ TRACESWO. PB4 and PB5 do include in the same column SPI1_MISO and SPI1_MOSI, so I suspect the reference manual should prevail.Is there a way to confirm the possible error in the datasheet or otherwise resolve the apparent conflict?Thanks

Hello, I am developing a platform with BLE Beacon connectivity and I am looking to extend the range of our device. Until now, I have been using BLUENRG-M2SA module, which is BLE v5.2 ceritifed. I know that BLE v5.1 >= versions include "long range" mode ( 125 or 500 kbps datarate ), usually described as Coded PHY, but couldn't find any mention of it on M2SA documents. Does BLUENRG-M2SA module support BLE Coded PHY ? If yes, could you point me to a respective document or source file ?

The screen of my H750B-DK board is weirdly flickering every 12 seconds when the system clock is set to 350MHz. Previously I was at 400MHz when the issue first appeared and the flicker happened about every 10 seconds. At 480Mhz (max) the issue seems to be gone.The issue is presented on the video below (for 350MHz):https://youtu.be/M4nj6cP3B6UThe issue appeared randomly after implementing a new feature (a new class containing all MQTT publish message functionality). I have hooked up one class to have access to tick events but there is only one if statement within it with very little code and also it is not run every 12 seconds but rather when a hardware event happens (MQTT disconnection) so this is not it.I am also using tick events in my main screen but there is only an empty placeholder if statement and another if statement for checking a FreeRTOS queue for data (for sending error codes from hardware to TouchGFX for display).I am using no custom interrupt or timer routines yet. This is

I'm a little frustrated that there isn't a "Here's ST's Time of Flight sensor offering and which sensors have which features" kind of page. The sensor datasheets themselves also do not give any real comparison data to other (pin compatible) parts.From what I have gathered:vl53l0x - 25o FOV, base model in ranging sensors. Single zone, single targetvl53l1  - 27o FOV, multi-zone (adjustable FoV)vl53l1x - same but with more zones?vl53l1cb - no ideavl53l2 - not a productvl53l3cx - 25o FOV, multi target, faster (1MHz) I2Cvl53l4cd - 18o FOV, short range (1mm - 1300mm), fast (100Hz), 1MHz I2Cvl53l4cx - histogram based (?), long range (0-6000mm), 18o, multi targetLooks like the L5 isn't footprint-compatible:vl53l5cx - 63o FOV, multizone, mutli-targetvl53l5cp - cx + person detect?vl53l8ca - 2nd gen, wide FOV like L5, pin compatible with L5?Then there's the VL6180, which is not footprint compatible and I think is older, based on an earlier ToF design, and the VL6180x which add

Hi,I am trying to find a low power solution for close range (down to 1mm) proximity detection at 1Hz frequency. It seems VL53L4CD can do the job pretty good but I didn't find power consumption details of low power mode in the datasheet.I also found there is a Ultra Low Power driver for VL53L3CX which only consumes ~50uA@1Hz but it doesn't support close-range. Can VL53L4CD achieve something similar wrt power consumption?Thanks!

My goal is to reserve a pin over CubeMX to remind me later to use that pin as an optional GPIO for example.I want some kind of marker that when I come back on the CubeMX configuration it catches my attention. I would prefer a color marker.I don't want to use the regular GPIO input assignation (shown in green on CubeMX) because it is lost among my 100 pins already configured (and also shown in green on CubeMX).Some clues of achieving my goal (but that appears not feasible at the moment on CubeMX v6.4.0):• Assign <Single mapped signals> on a simple GPIO output over CubeMX (pin becomes yellow);• Apply a label on an unused pin (pin stays grey but with option label on it);• Change pin color of a regular GPIO output.One other method without using the color marker could be to use a label marker tag like: <[OPTIONAL] My_Pin_Label>. But this is not a suitable solution for my post.Regards,Nadreoh

Hi ST Member, Is there any specific function pack for "Optical Character Recognition"?. I have a kit STM32H747I-Disco, Planning to do some projects in character recognition. Regards,shankari.

Will there be a Rebuild Button in the future like in TrueStudio?

Below error is throwing in Manjaro Linux when I try to upload the program to the board. The project is building successful. Installed libncurses from AUR as well as the offiicial repository, but no use.

Hi,I am trying to set up two timers so that they generate a PWM with the second timer being 1/4 phase past the first one. I am using an STM32F446.I have the second set up as slave and triggered by the OCREF2 of timer 1, this should then generate a reset of timer 2. Below is my timer init by cube mx and I'll also post the registers.static void MX_TIM1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 0 */   TIM_ClockConfigTypeDef sClockSourceConfig = {0}; TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC = {0}; TIM_BreakDeadTimeConfigTypeDef sBreakDeadTimeConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 1 */ htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 99; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 63999; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DI

Dear Sir,I'm new to STM32WB55 and using STM32CubeMonitor-RF.We see the value of RAW RSSI from the Value parameter of Command Complete of ACI_HAL_READ_RAW_RSSI in STM32CubeMonitor-RF and it results in the RSSI dBm.Such as:(RAW RSSI) --> (RSSI dBm)0x000006 --> -107.00 dBm0x000007 --> -107.00 dBm0x00000A --> -106 dBm0x00000B --> -105.00 dBm0x000012 --> -103.00 dBm0x000014 --> -102.00 dBm0x000017 --> -100.00 dBm0x00001C --> -98.00 dBm0x00001D --> -98.00 dBm0x000021 --> -97.00 dBm0x000024 --> -97.00 dBm0x000029 --> -96.00 dBm...0x0001A9 --> -75.00 dBmMay we ask you about the formula for converting RAW RSSI value in dBm?
