I am working on a PCB design with a STM32H735IG uC, and I would like to use the integrated SMPS to provide VCORE directly, without the LDO. This corresponds to figure 19.2 of RM0468 (the reference manual). In this configuration the VFBSMPS is connected directly to VCAP and to VDDLDO (I also add 100nF on each of the three VCAP pins and on each of the three VDDLDO pins).  Section 6.4.1 ("System supply startup") stipulates that at startup:When the system is powered on, the POR monitors V DD supply. Once V DD is above the POR threshold level, the SMPS step-down converter and voltage regulator are enabled in the default supply configuration:The SMPS step-down converter output level is set at 1.36 V.The voltage regulator output level is set at 1.0 V in accordance with the VOS3levelSo, at startup, before the LDO is disabled by software, there is a conflict on the VCAP pins: the SMPS is driving them at 1.36V, while the LDO provides 1.0V internally. Is this out of spec? Is the LDO going to

I followed the steps to install the mongodb from the openSTLinux distribution.when I run the mongodb from the terminal, it is crashing with the bus error.root@stm32mp1:/usr/bin# mongodBus error (core dumped) Appreciate your help..

Hi everyone,I have been stuck at a problem. I have been trying to configure HAL_Delay function to work in STM32 BLE_Server example in the STM32WB SDK. However, for some reason, the code gets stuck inside the HAL_Delay() Function. I have searched over the internet and tried the solution to increase Systick interrupt priority. Still there's no solution to my problem. Please help me out.

Hi,I have a project which is based on the STM32L475RC and now I want to upgrade to the STM32L475RE controller. I have changed the device from STM32L475RC to STM32L475RE in options for the target of the Keil environment. But the new project based on the STM32L475RE is not working. Any other steps to change the project configuration?

Hi, newbie here, while browsing the Examples for the NUCLEO-WL55JC1, it came to my attention that some have a dualcore version. The SubGHz_Phy_PinPong for Example.Does one core get disableled in the non dualcore Version? And how can i change the setting? Greets, Daniel

Hello All,I am in the process of designing a circuit with four microcontrollers in Daisy chain. I would like to program and debug them via one JTAG port, hence will be daisy chaining them. Which one of the programmers can do this?. I have used ST-Link-V2, but this cannot programm multiple chips in a daisy chain.

Hello,My team is developing a product that integrates the LSM6DSM and IIS2MDC, and we would like to use the MotionFX library for sensor fusion. How can we accomplish this, given that we are using a third-party ARM Cortex M4F processor (not STM)?I have already tried integrating the MotionFX library with our project. Though it compiles and links successfully, our MCU throws a hard-fault within MotionFX_initialize.Thank you,Peter

I am looking for maximum timer resolution supported in STM32U5 series MCU's.Basically whether I can configure or use hardware timer as 100us.Any input or documentation on this would be a great help. Thanks!!

Hello,I am interesting in STLQ020PUR WITHOUT the output discharge function (presented as an option) : there is no information in the datasheet to recognize if this option is present or not versus the device reference STLQ020PUR : how to be sure that the provided device has no discharge function ?Thanks

Hi, Is there any way to give a more meaningful name to a serial port with the device tree, so that is shows up in the linux kernel?Right now, in a device tree, it is possible to choose an alias in the alias node. But they do show up as ttySTMx in the /dev directory. Is there a way to make it work so that it gets a more intutive name like rs232? For my specific layout some serial ports are connected to a specific interface./ {   aliases { serial1 = &usart1; }; }; /*root*/ // Instead / { aliases { rs232 = &usart1; };   }; /*root*/

Hello. I'm currently implementing USB Drag and Drop Bitstream loader for FPGA using STM32F103CBTB and latest CubeIDE (1.10.0). The implementation uses STM32 in USB Mass storage class and virtual file system based on FAT12. The part of Drag and drop is working fine. But If I add 200ms delay into the code (line 354) which is under STORAGE_Write_FS() in usbd_storage_if.c , This cause USB to halt. So, my question is there any way to pause USB transaction for 200ms delay and continue transaction? I attached the source of usbd_storage_if.c down below for who want to take a look at. Thank in advance!

Hi,My project is SubGHZ Phy Ping Pong. In AN5568 the Rx consumption varies from 4mA to 10mA. In my project, the Rx consumption current from 8mA to 9mA. I want to reduce the Rx consumption. My configure below,Please recommend me some solutions.Thanks.

Hi guys, I'm a mechatronics student learning the basics of STM32s in my own time through the excellent series of guides by Vivonomicon. I'm currently learning interrupts, but my program seems to trigger a SIGTRAP fail when the interrupt fire. The code consists of main.c for the main loop and setup code, and nvic.c for holding the ISRs. There are a few header files for the volatile led_on variable and pin constants, It's running on an STM32413ZH Nucleo-144 board (I plan to use an 8080 LCD soon). All it does is watch the global led_on variable in the main loop, and on a rising edge on the on-board button (PC13) it'll toggle this variable (or at least that's what it's supposed to do)// Main.c   #include "main.h"   int main(void){ RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOBEN; // Enable GPIO bank B RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOCEN; // Enable GPIO bank C GPIOB->MODER = 0x1; // set Pin 0 to output mode // GPIOC is already in all input mode   GPIOB->OSPEEDR = 0x0

Using STM32F765VG6TR, every time I power on the MCU, the two DACs are supposed to be set to constant output voltages of 2.4V and 0.8V. This happens inconsistently - sometimes it works, about 50/50 success rate. A few notes:If it isn't working, an MCU reset does not fix it.There seems to be a correlation between how long I wait after power-down and power up and the DACs enabling properly. Waiting not too long and not too short seems to be the sweet spot (about 1.5s)This would lead me to believe it's a power sequencing issue with VDDA/VDD, but can't seem to correlate a specific start-up waveform with bad DAC behaviorHave reproduced the issue on two separate processors with different PCBAsEither both DAC channels work, or both do not work. Haven't seen one work and not the other. It didn't work on this try (DAC voltage in yellow):It did work on this try (see DAC voltage rise in yellow):I have tried waiting 100ms in the code before trying to run the DAC, no luck - which kind of makes sense

Apologize for IAR specific question, hope someone here can shed some light on my problem. I've tried to ask IAR support, but looks like they have a long weekend or whatever.I have a bootloader at 0x08000000 and main app at 0x08008000.The bootloader initializes something for the main app so it must execute every time before the app.Pretty common thing, done many times with Atollic and CubeIDE.But I cannot debug this with the EWARM debugger. When I set the main app as active and start debugger, it enters the main app directly from its reset handler, without going thru the bootloader. No matter how I define the reset method - "system", "core" "connect under reset".More to this - the reset button on the debugger toolbar has similar options - and none of these goes to the bootloader. Unchecked run to main - does not help. I tried to debug the bootloader instead, and load the main app as extra image. This properly starts the bootloader, but after entering the main app source navigatio

Hi,I've set up timer in PWM mode with circular DMA in CubeIDE.I would like to change buffer with halfcplt and cplt callbacks but i have no idea how to do that. I can't find any example on internet neither in documentation.Should i somehow register those callbacks or maybe there are some weak void functions that i can't find? I would be very thankful for any code example.Edit: I'm using stm32f407vg

This is a FreeRTOS related question. I am using FreeRTOS on the STM32L4S9AII6 MCU.How do I get access to the source code for the ulTaskGetIdleRunTimeCounter() function? All the IDE allows me to see when I attempt to open the declaration (F3) is this pseudo declaration found in task.h:uint32_t ulTaskGetIdleRunTimeCounter( void ) PRIVILEGED_FUNCTION;What a self-absorbed function. This must be proprietary information I guess. I need to know if this function does any blocking or disabling of interrupts. Is there a straightforward way to gather this information?

A regression was detected when a project is migrated to the latest STM32CubeMX v6.6.0. The following source files got removed from Core/Src folder after the migration.system_stm32xxxx.csysmem.csyscalls.cTo avoid this issue, please apply one of the following workaround:Delete .mxproject file before performing project migrationMove or copy the whole project in another location before project migrationWe are working on a patch release for MX and IDE in which the described issue will be fixed. The patch will be available soon. We apologize for the inconveniences.

Why I get \0 at the end of the transmission?I imaging the \0 is a NUL termination character but I have seen from the terminal that sometimes is not received or arrives with a big delay.Could somebody tell me anything about it?Thanks in advance.

Before that there was STM32CubeIDE ver1.4.0 STM32CubeMX ver6.0.0 everything was fine.Installed STM32CubeIDE ver1.5.1 and STM32CubeMX ver6.1.1, there was an error when connecting USB_DEVICE.Tried creating a project from scratch with nothing but USB_DEVICE. Gives an error message. What to do?

Hi all,I'm trying to read and write values to an STmicro tag(ST25TA02KB-D,  ISO 14443-4) using the X-Nucleo board from a python program. I've tried a number of approaches(waveshare pi hat, standalone PN532 modules, using libnfc and adafruit libraries, to list) but none really work and it's honestly a little out of my depth. Currently I've built the Linux nfc polling demo included with the X-Nucleo board, but even that fails to run(see attached)If I had resources or python examples using any of these systems, I could probably figure it out, but all the support I've found seems to apply mainly to mifare classic cards. If anybody has experience or pointers for any of this I'd be quite grateful to hear it!
