Hello i have a SKR board and the MCU was faulty. I swap the chip and tried to conect via SWD on CubeProgrammer but no success after i have can connect via usb but when i as to program by my mistake i erase full chip and after cannot conect again. Is there some way to conect the chip or is broke?

i want implement software AES-GMC algotithen by STM32F030cct6. i download the CubeMX crypto library Ver 4.01. but it does not include driver for STM32F030 mcu. also in UM1924 manual is only about CubeMX crypto Ver 3.0?please help methank you

Hello ,I am working on NUCLEO-H745ziq board. I am trying the example AZURE RTOS of Ux_CDC_device , the example provide in cubemx accordingly I setup the things in cubemx but when I try to generate the code it shows warning and the when I run the programmed hard fault error is come. I follow the example of NUCLEO-H723ZG. all the setup same as I done why Iget these error ? can you please help me

Hi, I used a swipe container with 2 pages, and I want to drag the icon from the 1st page to the 2nd page. But the icon cannot move to 2nd page because the icon is create in the 1st page container and doesn't move across container. How can achieve my needs ?

Hi, may i know how to open the serial monitor on UDE STK ?i have been search whole day to monitor my adc value but i didn't found the serial monitor.

As per application note, it says X-CUBE-LPUART supports STM32U5. I am trying to find example for LPUART Reception in LPBAM but I am not able to find any example. Cube IDE has one example but LPBAM mode configured only for transmission. For the reception it is not even initializing LPBAM application. LPBAM itself is very complicated design. No proper documentation on it.

Hi,I'm trying to set the RTC date and time when uploading my code to a NUCLEO-L476RG board. I've already configured the RTC in CubeMX, and it works as it should. But I've only managed to set the time manually by setting the BCD values for Hours, Minutes, Seconds and so on in CubeMX when configuring the RTC (or changing them directly in the RTC init function). So I would like to know if there is a way to read the current wall clock time from the PC and use this to set the RTC. I've tried including time.h and using time(NULL) to read the wall clock time, but it returns -1 (which according to the docs means calendar time is not available). Do I need to configure the GCC toolchain to be able to use time.h, or is there another way to read wall clock time onto the NUCLEO board?Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, I'm using STM32H7A3, and I’m a bit confused about injected current for pins used as analog input. In our design, I used both 5V tolerant and 3V tolerant pins as analog input. And VDD=3.3V, VDDA is connected to VDD with a bead. And Vref is 3V. And for each input, I have clampon diode connected to VDD, not Vref. For 5V tolerant pins, positive inject current would happen when Vin > min(Vdd, Vdda)+3.6V, with maximum 5 V. For 3V tolerant pins, positive inject current would happen when Vin > Vdd+0.3V In the document here, chapter 5.2.1 and 5.2.2 https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an4899-stm32-microcontroller-gpio-hardware-settings-and-lowpower-consumption-stmicroelectronics.pdfIf the pins are used as analog input, the maximum operating voltage on pin cannot exceed min(VDDA, VREF+) + 0.3 V. Does it mean injection current will happen when VIN > min(VDDA, VREF+) + 0.3 V, or the injection current will happen only when VIN > VDD? The reas

According to UM2237, the Connect command in the CLI (command line interface) supports SPI, but what is the device used to connect the Nucleo board to the PC? How does the device look like from the PC side (device manager)?---> start (added to question on 10/09/2021)I purchased the STLINK-V3SET and tried it with the STM32CubeProgrammer, but I cannot establish a connection with the device via SPI.The board I am using is NUCLEO-L4R5ZI, and the following are the pins that are connected to it:(1) STLINK, CN5, Pin#1(SPI_NSS) to NUCLEO, CN12, Pin#16(PB12, NSS)(2) STLINK, CN5, Pin#3(SPI_MOSI) to NUCLEO, CN12, Pin#26(PB15, MOSI)(3) STLINK, CN5, Pin#5(SPI_MISO) to NUCLEO, CN12, Pin#28(PB14, MISO)(4) STLINK, CN5, Pin#7(SPI_SCK) to NUCLEO, CN12, Pin#30(PB13, SCK)(5) NUCLEO, CN11, Pin#5(VDD) to NUCLEO CN11, Pin#7(PH3-BOOT0)I operated as follows:(a) Press RESET button on NUCLEO to start STM32 Bootloader(b) Select SPI as Port in STM32CubeProgrammer and press Connect button(c) Failed to establish c

Hello,I have not been able to program the MCU from ST-Link/V2 (Serial 2-wire) - I suppose this is possible??Bonus info: Debugging with J-link and same (serial 2-wire) works fine. Thanks in advance - Michael

I'm new to Cube IDE and Cube MX but I've been trying to create a simple project based on an STM32H753ZI to investigate ADC capture.Having enabled a few channels on ADC3 I looked in the clock tree to find the ADC clock speed but it's greyed out. When I hover over the ADC Clock Mux section I get a message saying "ADC Clock Source is not available" and to configure one in the Pinout Tab ADC.I can't see any options that mention anything to do with a clock in the ADC section (or , I've seen screenshots from the STM32H743 where there is a "Clock Prescaler" option under ADC_Settings, but I don't see this option in my case. I've seen that sometimes options only become visible when other options have first been set, so hopefully this is something simple that I've overlooked.Any help would be welcomed.

I have both these devices on the same I2C bus and am trying to calculate the maximum pullup resistance. Thanks!

I'm using an STM32L4 with STM32CubeIDE, bare metal, and using C++ along with Cube's C libraries. The compiler is the GCC/G++ supplied with STM32CubeIDE.I have some dynamic memory usage in STL containers etc. I'm aware of the recommendation not to use dynamic memory on bare-metal embedded systems, but it is generally used only during initialization, minimizing the complications.I would like to know how much of the heap I'm using, and found no way to do that. I saw discussions of __heapstats but it doesn't seem to be defined in this toolchain (?).It doesn't have to be a programmatic way, if there is some internal data structure of newlib or whatever that I can watch while debugging that will suffice.p.s.I know the term "free heap space" is not very well defined, because of block sizes and fragmentation, but I suspect that in my case it's going to be one big free block.any ideas?

Hi,I'm struggling to add low-power features to my device application, hopefully I can get some help here. What do I want?My device is sampling sensor data (52Hz) and saving it periodically to external flash memory. When the device is running in sampling mode I do not want to do anything with Bluetooth (CPU2). If possible I want to have it fully disabled! What have I tried?Read the Low Power manager description in this manual.Add the following to my application:• Create a user Id (CFG_LPM_Id_t) in app_conf.h • Call UTIL_LPM_SetOffMode() • Call void UTIL_LPM_EnterLowPower()ResultThis will indeed significantly decrease my power consumption, but it looks like CPU1 is set to OFF as well. My sensor processing stops as well as my interrupt triggers (DRDY) coming from a MEMS sensor. Similar behavior I have with UTIL_LPM_SetStopMode().Is there any way to have CPU2 power consumption to a minimum, independently from CPU1, which should sample data and input it to an AI model (so I guess it's not pos

I have a script in my project that generates code prior to a build that works great. However, I'm trying to set up command line builds and I'm getting an error when I build from the command line:Contains: Variable references empty selection: ${project_loc}I tried to set this variable in the shell prior to building but no luck.I can probably work around this in one of two ways:Hard code the path to the project (but this may break build on other machines)Disable the script and call it on the command line (but this break the build in the IDE)Command line:/opt/st/stm32cubeide_1.4.0/stm32cubeide --launcher.suppressErrors -nosplash -application org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core.headlessbuild -cleanBuild my_project/Release -data ~/stm32/workspace -D CMD_LINE_VARIf anyone has any suggestions that would be great.Builder setup:Project -> Properties -> Builders -> Main

Hello everyone,I am currently working on the hardware design of a STM32WB55 and there is an information I would like to clarify. In the AN5165, it is explained that the RF track should be matched at 50 ohms. However, on page 43/48 - figure 36, there is an extraction of results with a test bench used by ST showing the optimal impedance for TX, which is a bit different than the 50 ohms specified (result is Zopt,TX = 42 - j19).Which impedance should I target for my application ?Regards.

After switching to cubeIDE, i was prompted to upgrade the stlink firmware, after doing so the version changed from stlink v2-b to stlink v2 (without the uart functionality)Now i have the v2j40s0 St-link/V2This is on the 32F429IDISCOVERY board. Is it possible to get back the uart functionality, is there a firmware version that contains uart for this discovery board stlink and is compatible with the new toolchain?

This is on a Windows platform. After some crashes (that wiped my code!), I removed and then re-installed STM32CubeIDE. After re-installing, builds don't work. Reason is there is no make executable in the IDEs search path. It is buried in the application directory, but no path to it. Quick and Dirty solution of copying the .exe to a place in the IDEs path didn't solve the issue, just got a different error.I did delete the /ST directory too after un-installing, but still no luck getting make to work. Potentially related, this was part of a big "get everything updated" push that included updating to latest Atollic tools (9.3.0), STM32CubeMX (5.2.1) and latest Java too. Not very interesting, but here is the error message:08:31:17 **** Clean-only build of configuration Debug for project CAN_Input **** make clean Cannot run program "make": Launching failed   Error: Program "make" not found in PATH PATH=[C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.0.0/STM32CubeIDE/jre/bin/server;C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.0.0/STM32

Hello, I am looking to include USB audio streaming, this package looks perfect for handling a lot of the functionality. Just wondering if there are any guides on how to add this to a .ioc STM32CubeIde project for a different part than those in the Example applications. (STM32L475RG)

For a STM32F105 project I have ADC1 configured with13 regular conversion channels.The problem is I only get the first reading and the rest of the buffer stays empty.It seems the pointer to the buffer array is not correct or the DMA is not incrementing to the next index.I declared a buffer variable for the ADC readings./* USER CODE BEGIN PV */ #define ADC_BUFFER_SIZE 13 uint16_t ADCvalue[ADC_BUFFER_SIZE];In the main I start ADC with DMA and the timer 2 channel 2 PWM/* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ // Start the ADC1 if (HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   if (HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1, (uint32_t*)&ADCvalue, ADC_BUFFER_SIZE) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   // Calibrate The ADC On Power-Up For Better Accuracy if (HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   // Start timer 2 CC2 trigger for ADC1 if (HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_2) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }And in the while loop I try

Hello ST Community,I am currently working with the STM32F723ICT6. This has according to the datasheet (added as image) a flash capacity of 256 KBytes. While flashing with the STM32CubeProgrammer, which confirms the 256 KBytes flash capacity, I generated a file with an exact size of 512 KBytes with random content and tried to flash it to the start address 0x0800 0000. My expectation was that this might not work, but the flashing was successful anyway. As proof I read 512 KBytes from the same start address via CubeProgrammer using the STLink and compared the checksum of the generated file and it was identical. Consequently the 512 KBytes were flashed completely. Do I have a mistake or is the flash capacity of the STM32F723IC identical to the STM32F723IEXX? Consequently it would be wrong documented.

Hi all,I have a question concerning the duration of float multiplication on the STM32F4. As far as I know, the chip has an FPU.I run the following code snippetfloat LagCompensator_process(LagCompensator_instance* S, float input) {   S->x2 = input;   LL_GPIO_SetOutputPin(GPIOC, LL_GPIO_PIN_8);   S->y1 = S->p1 * (-S->p2 * S->y1 + S->p3 * S->x2 + S->p4 * S->x1 ); LL_GPIO_ResetOutputPin(GPIOC, LL_GPIO_PIN_8); S->x1 = S->x2;   return S->y1;   }The duration between the Pin Set and Reset is about 170ns. The processor runs on 180MHz.I find the 170ns for 4 Multiplications pretty long. However, it is with float variables. Can anybody comment on this? Do I have to activate the FPU somewhere in the Project? In the project properties, you can findThanks in advance for your help!

Hello,I noticed there is a way to print to a console from the simulator using touchgfx_printf, I'm wondering if it's possible to read in characters also?I noticed the comment in Utils.hpp:The console window is used to print to using touchgfx_printf(), printf() or std::cout, * and read from using e.g. fgets() or std::cin. Alternatively, instead of using * printf(), simply use touchgfx_printf() which will ensure there is a console to write * to. After the first call to touchgfx_printf(), it will also be possible to read from * stdin. This would be useful to replace parts of the code where I am waiting on a message queue, instead I could do the following, pseudocode:if SIMULATOR wait on character input x from console do action based on key inputelse wait on OS message queue do action based on messageMy understanding is that FreeRTOS is not used for the simulator, so this would be a useful way to imitate other system tasks sending messages to the GUI. This would allow me

I could successfully load and read images (ExtFlashFection)in QSPI but when it comes to font and text it doesn't work... I use stm32f767+qspi+sdram+keil environment... and you see the .sct file and my project here.can anybody help me?? internal flash runs out of space because of fonts and text and I don't know what to do... thank you in advance.
