I am trying to run a debug session with the built application which is built upon the secure bootloader. Note: All security mechanisms are disabled for debugging purposes. The issue seems to be the combined elf file. Loading this using a debugger, the target boots up into the bootloader. The bootloader does not find a valid application in the master slot and erases the flash, since it is not empty and asks for an sfb-file via YMODEM.Flashing the target with the resulting binary file, using cube programmer, works as expected. But i want to be able to debug my application. Have anyone else had this issue ?regards,Martin

Our products integrate the above PNs and we would need these documents in order to submit them to the cerification laboratory. As reported in the datasheet both ToF sensors are "designed to remain within Class 1 laser safety limits under all reasonably foreseeable conditions including single faults in compliance with IEC 60825-1: 2014 (third edition)."  Thank you

We are using the P-L496G-CELL02 demo board and want to connect an external device through an UART.Is there (for example USART1) accessible for external connection? Which ports are connected to the Arduino compatible interface? Is there an UART aviable?Or are there schematics of the board aviable?Regards,Michael

Hello,in STM32CubeProg v2.11.0, in the Registers (BETA) tab, peripheral ADC, register SMPR1, the entry SMP0 is missing (it's the VREF INT channel).Best,Nicolas

Hello,We are having an issue with the STM32H753IIT6, which contains several RAM sections... namely ITCMRAM (0x00000000), DTCMRAM (0x20000000), RAM_D1 (0x24000000), RAM_D2 (0x30000000), RAM_D3 (0x38000000).The problem that is occurring: When loading variables specifically into RAM_D2 and RAM_D3 (0x30000000), the generated Hex file is including this section as a loadable section, which in turn causes issues in STM32CubeProgrammer when it tries to load that section. When the (NOLOAD) option is applied to the linker script, it does fix the problem, however we do not like this option as we then have to specially treat any initial values in the code...Is this a known issue?/* ****************************************************************************** ** ** File : LinkerScript.ld ** ** Author : STM32CubeIDE ** ** Abstract : Linker script for STM32H7 series ** 2048Kbytes FLASH and 1056Kbytes RAM ** ** Set heap size, stack size and stack location according ** to application requirements. **

Hello everyone,I have a NUCLEO-H723ZG board and its user manual UM2407 does not contain its schematic. Is there a way to have a look at the board's schematic somewhere? Thanks in advance

Hi, I create my new project follow the SubGHz Phy Ping Pong example project. In the example project, the RTC configure in "Free running Binary mode". In my project, I configure the RTC in "Free running BCD calender mode" therefore no Radio Rx Timeout after the Radio.Rx() function called. Someone know how to fix this problem in RTC Free running BCD calender mode. My project below. Please support me.Thanks.

I've been trying to implement over the air updating on a board with the mentioned MCU. According to the reference manual of the G4 MCU series, dual bank operation should be supported, but the Flash memory characteristics of the G431xB series only mentions one bank. Furthermore "FLASH_OPTR_DBANK" is not defined in HAL, which suggests that it isn't an option. Does this mean that this specific G4 series doesn't support this operating mode?

Exist some internal way to do this ? Itry this , but clock config for CPU2 must be 32MHz ...

Hi Sir,I'm developing project using STM32WB55 and start from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.14.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_p2pServer.everything setup fine with LightBlue Android APP. When I trace and debug code, I cannot hit break if I use "READ" from lightBlue APP. I can hit point if send notify/subscribe and write. Please kindly guide me where I can hit READ EVENT in code. thank you.btw, I also try STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.13.0 and other Android BLE APP. The result is same.Best regards,Chang

Hello,I am facing a problem for the first time with one device while doing something that has worked perfectly on several (dozens) before of the same model (STM32H755IIT6).I am updating the firmware of the device with a custom update tool that has closely the same protocol as flashing with the stm32CubeProgrammer, namely at the writing request "0x31".The problem is that, at this device, a part of the data is not being written, though I get a positive response from the request, when I am flashing the m4, falling after the address 0x08010040 and for several (not always constant) blocks.Using a saleae, I can see that both using the update tool or the stm32CubeProgrammer, they perform very much the exact same way (only time differences of ms), for the same file even the same information. E.g.:Request: 0x31 0xCEResponse: 0x79Request (Address and checksum) e.g.:0x08 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x08Response: 0x79Request: data length, data, checksumResponse: 0x79This is performed with the same content by t

Noob question - can I use AI with the STM32WL SoC ?I want to train a model and then use STM32Cube.AI to put it on STM32WLE5CC. This is so I can use AI on the end device and transmit data using LoRa all using the one chip.Is this possible ?Many thanks in advance.

In my project, I used the LIS3DH chip. Most of the time the processor sleeps. The processor wakes up on time and on exceeding the shock threshold. In case of awakening on shock threshold, I need to read the data from the FIFO buffer (32 measurements) that were before the wake-up signaland a series of measurements (600-32) after waking up.How could I do this? Now I am reading the measurements while waiting for the ZYXDA register ready bit STATUS_REG(27h) set. FIFO always enabled in Stream mode. But this metod may not work when reading the FIFO part of the measurements. Should I change the read algorithm when reading data from FIFO?I think this is the algorithm:1. Read FIFO 32 measurements on wakeup by observing the EMPTY bit of the FIFO_SRC_REG(2Fh) register2. Disable FIFO by resetting FIFO_EN register CTRL_REG5(24h)3. Read 600 - 32 measurements waiting for ZYXDA bit STATUS_REG(27h)Or is it possible somehow easier? In the DocID17530 Rev 2 and AN3308 documentation, I did not find an answer to

Hi, I'm developping an application for Android on VisualStudio with Xamarin.I implemented the ST sdk, interfaces and the « ST driver » Tagdiscovery. But at the execution, In the « PerformTagDiscovery » into TagDiscovery class, the line « tagInfo.nfcTag = new ST25DVTag(readerInterface, uid); » generate an exception : Java.Lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Failed resolution of: Lorg/apache/commons/lang3/BitField;I try to implement manually Commons-Lang from apache on VisualStudio, but not possible, there is many and many error ....Is that a solution ?

I configured 2 file storage devices on my STM32H745I-DISCO board.USB_OTG_FS and SDMMC1 (for built in eMMC).Both devices initialize properly without errors. The USB host detects the device, it correctly identifies it as media storage class device. It enters the state HOST_USER_CLASS_ACTIVE.Then I start the new RTOS task to mount the device. On STM32H747I-DISCO it worked (although via USB_OTG_HS external). On this board I get HARD_FAULT interrupt when the driver tries to read data. The HARD_FAULT occurs both when trying to read or write from USB disk or MMC.

Hi,I am using STM32L476. COMP1 and COMP2 are configured in window mode, and that is working great. I am also using TIM1 break function. Below is a summary of the problem that I am encountering:If I use COMP1, and only COMP1, as a source for BREAK or BREAK2, the break function works fine.If I use COMP2, and only COMP2, as a source for BREAK or BREAK2, the break function works fine.If I use COMP1 or COMP2 as an ADDITIONAL source for a BREAK or BREAK2 configuration which was previously working, the break function stops working.I don't know if that's because there is a problem with the break function not accepting multiple sources (that should not be the case, as the manual clearly says that multiple sources are possible and they are ORed), or if there is a problem when using COMP1 / COMP2 as a break source (maybe that's related to the window mode configuration). Therefore, I just wanted to know if anybody already managed to use COMP1 AND COMP2 as sources for BREAK or BREAK2.Thanks a lot fo

I have a LCD display working on a nucleo F412 using FSMC. I'm trying to move to a nucleo F746. I have moved the code and includes from the 412 to the 746 project and connected the display to the correct pins for the 746. The 746 pin out is a little different than the 412 for the default connections. I have the same clock speeds and settings. I compared the FMC init function line by line between the two and all the setting match, but I can't get the display to work using the 746. Using a logic analyzer and comparing the two boards running the same code I can see there are differences on the FMC A18,FMC_NE1,FMC_NWE and FMC_NOE pins. The logic analyzer is sampling at 24MHZ. I've moved the display jumpers for the display back to the F412 and it works, back to F746 making sure to adjust for the differences in the pins a few times now. Any idea's where or why the display works on the F412 but the same settings, clock speeds and code won't work on the F746? Thanks

Hello There,I am currently work on 6 - Step (Trapezoidal) Control and have developed my software with Nucleo - F302R8. I have a low inductance(23uH) bldc motor. When I've tested this motor with my software, current signal doesn't look right. Also, we have tested bldc motor with another motor driver and signal is same. What can be the reason of this signal?Yellow -> Dc_Bus - PhasePurple -> Phase CurrentPWM at 50% duty cycle PWM at 100% duty cycle

I have two STM32 devices and both are identical, send and receive messages in frame formats. They both have UART, DMA, NVIC etc. And I need a good strategy to setup a lossless communication between them. There is too much information online, but very little about which is good method. Also this project is configured with RTOS.What I found online:--> Interrupts is bad strategy.--> DMA is the good one, DMA with circular buffer is also a good one.--> byte format is not reliable, so use frame type.(identifier, address, data, crc)can someone help me here? I'm actually overwhelmed by these concepts.
