I have designed an RFID reader with CR95HF and 3.3V as VPS and VPS_TX, I am using ISO/IEC 15693 tags and have achieved a read range of 8-10 cm. I seek to increase the range as much as possible, so I wonder that if making a design where VPS and VPS_TX are 5V would improve the read range significantly assuming that the other factors are designed correctly.if it would help improving the read range, then what points should I keep in mind? what advices can you give me when designing the matching network and the PCB antenna?Thank you.

I asked Rocktech about the connectors and their answer is:"RK043FN48H-CT672B is a custom display only for STM based on their discovery board and the FPC was designed in soldering type, no need connector."I'm designing custom board based on this development board, and inspecting the side view of the board, I notice the flexible connector underneath the display. My question is how it is connected to the main board? Please see the attached photo.

Working on interfacing with the evaluation board however I don't know where any I/O is mapped.For example CN9 PC0 what gpio is this mapped to ? What I have done with other MCUs is reference the evaluation board schematic to know the corresponding pins and gpios. Thanks

I am writing firmware that was automatically generated by the TouchGFX 4.20.0 and then opened the .ioc file to enable an ADC, Timer, Binary Semaphore and add a Task. When I generated that code, it compiled without any issue. My purpose for enabling these features is to measure the value on an ADC and display it on the LCD screen. Part of my work was to develop a custom .c and .h file that initialized the ADC, the timer and do a callback to send the ADC value to the screen via a Binary Semaphore. I added two files:"PollingRoutines.c""PollingRoutines.h"PollingRoutines.c is below:#include "main.h" #include "PollingRoutines.h" #include "cmsis_os.h"   extern ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc1; extern TIM_HandleTypeDef htim1; extern osSemaphoreId_t binarySemAnalogHandle;   uint16_t uhADCxConvertedValue[10] = {0};   void PollingInit(){ HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1,&uhADCxConvertedValue,10); HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim1); }   void PollingRoutine(){   }   void HAL_A

I have been developing embedded software for on and off for 15 years, and STM32 for 5. I have a pretty simple goal for a timer application on the WB55 microcontroller, and I've been banging my head for the last 2 days with little success, so I'm asking the community if there is something simple I'm missing.I'm trying to use Timer 16 and Timer 17 on the STM32WB55 to each output one pulse per software call. This is for a very typical servo PWM control application, where a single positive pulse of 1.0 msec to 2.0 msec is needed every 20 msec. I'm using my own hard real-time scheduler to drive the control loop, and when the software calculates the desired pulse duration, I want to output the pulse with minimum latency after that calculation is done. This means that I don't want to use a continuous timer PWM and adjust the pulse width on the fly, because if my software scheduling drifts out of sync with the PWM period, there could be up to 20 msec of latency before the updated pulse duratio

I am currently developing a GUI on a STM32F429-DISCO with a custom display (also 320x240) and have run into an issue with the positioning of displayed text. The text is shown on the display several lines below the location it was set to. This offset changes direction with text rotation. I am currently using the roboto font from google fonts. Depending on the font this offset seems to change direction.So why are fonts not shown correctly on the actual screen or why is there a clear offset of the shown content?

Any program that I generate using STM32CubeIDE for the STM32WB with BLE enabled hangs until I comment out the following line. What needs to change in the initialization sequence?  /**   * We should never end up in this case   * However, if due to any bug in the timer server this is the case, the mistake may not impact the user.   * We could just clean the interrupt flag and get out from this unexpected interrupt   */  while(__HAL_RTC_WAKEUPTIMER_GET_FLAG(phrtc, RTC_FLAG_WUTWF) == RESET);

With CubeIDE 1.10.1, CubeMX 6.61 and CubeFW_F0 1.11.3 (but is also true with previous version up to 2 years old), the value you key in into the 'Low threshold value' field of the ADC is not recorded. Thats a GUI issue.Then In the adc.c file generated by Cube, value is badly specified.You have to manually edit adc.c to set required value and not forget to do it every time you regenerate the project with cubeMX.Otherwise, the two threshold are operational.

Hi! My P-NUCLEO-IHM002 arrived few days ago. Now I'm trying to understand how its FW code works. I'm wondering where I can find the example FW project (preferably a STM32CubeIDE project) that build the default executable bin file inside that STM32F302R8? (That is, maybe the source project file that builds STM32CubeExpansion_SPN7_V1.1.0/Projects/Multi/Examples/MotorControl/Binary/STM32F302R8-Nucleo/X-CUBE-SPN7.bin?)Regards,Oliver

Hello,we would like to use the digital signature with truST25 Technology to verify the authenticity of NFC tags. In our physical devices with an NFC reader we will use the embedded library to verify the digital signature.We also have an iOS and Android app that should verify the signature. When the app is opened it shouldn't be a problem as it can read the tag directly.However, we also have a use case where we want to open our apps through a deeplink right after a user taps on the tag written into the NFC Tag (standard behavior, but we cannot verify the signature). It looks like this: https://app.example.com/tag/IDWe found this presentation: https://www.rfidjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Sept-27_N232A_235_Health_Barlow.pdfAt slides 15 - 19 it shows how the augmented NDEF feature can be used to verify the signature.Is it possible to have more information on how to implement such feature?Would it be suitable for our use case?We need the tags to be unique, can'

I'm working with ST25TV02KC-TFG3 in a tamper inlay. ReadConfiguration FID=03h, PID=06h returns the same value with the tamper contacts open or shorted. How should I be interpreting these results? I have question regarding the accelerometer LIS2DH12.I'm trying to configure the interrupt, to trigger when e.g. the x-axis goes above a threshold value. Not sure what to put in the INT1_THS register?and, in the output registers (OUT_X_L and OUT_X_H) what's the value/unit? is it in g, mg or m/s2?Looked in the datasheet and looks like when the sensor is configured in Normal Mode with +-2g sensitivity, each digit is equal to 4mg?So if I read out for example the raw value '2000' from x-axis, this should be:2000x4 = 8000mg = 8g?How can it be 8g when the measurement range is +-2g?

Hello, I am using a NUCLEO L552ZE-Q board, can some one please tell me what are the maximum and minimum voltages that it is safe to apply to an ADC input without causing damage to the Microcontroller. Thanks in advanceStephen

ST25TA Tag bag I purchased. How to remove the tags from the tag bag. It is firmly sticked to the sheet. I am using first time this RFID module and Tag bag.I have attached the TAG bag . How to take out the RFID tag from the tag bag.I want to keep it in another device specifically the first tag and second tag.

Hi STM-Team,We are trying to enable/configure HS200/HS400 mode in eMMC on STM32MP157F-EV1 evaluation board.We are using the stm32mp157f-ev1.dts device tree and we have configured the eMMC node as shown in below screenshot. As per the documentation, we came to know that to select HS200/HS200/HS400, VCCQ has to be set to 1.8 V or 1.2 V.So, we have set "vqmmc-supply" property in device tree to 1.8 range regulator i.e. "v1v8" as shown below.------------------------------------------------------------------------ v1v8: ldo6 {                regulator-name = "v1v8";                regulator-min-microvolt = <1800000>;                regulator-max-microvolt = <1800000>;            &

I am relatively new to stm32 and willing to know whether there are any detailed description for utilizing HAL functions. Recently, I'm DIYing a breathing LED (PWM sweeping from 0% to 100% and then go back to 0%) with stm32wb55rg on a nucleo board, without using software level counters in while loop. Instead, I'm learning to use HAL callback functions for PWMs and I found the PulseFinishCallback very suitable. The problem is that it keeps failing with callback never reached, I've looked through so many forum questions both in ST community and stack overflow, together with so many trial and errors to find the true settings in .ioc layout for calling this HAL callback function. So Right now I'm wondering are there any things like pilots' pre-take off checklist to check for settings in .ioc file, in order to run those HAL library functions?

Hi, Community,SDMMC3 is not working on STM32MP157F-EV1 board.I'm not sure what's wrong.I can confirm that SDMMC3_CK/CMD/D0 signals are input and output by osilloscope,but SDMMC_FIFO is empty.The following code is part of the SD_SendSDStatus function in stm32mp1xx_hal_sd.cstatic uint32_t SD_SendSDStatus(SD_HandleTypeDef *hsd, uint32_t *pSDstatus) { : : : /* Send ACMD13 (SD_APP_STAUS) with argument as card's RCA */ errorstate = SDMMC_CmdStatusRegister(hsd->Instance); if(errorstate != HAL_SD_ERROR_NONE) { hsd->ErrorCode |= HAL_SD_ERROR_NONE; return errorstate; } /* Get status data */ while(!__HAL_SD_GET_FLAG(hsd, SDMMC_FLAG_RXOVERR | SDMMC_FLAG_DCRCFAIL | SDMMC_FLAG_DTIMEOUT | SDMMC_FLAG_DATAEND)) { if(__HAL_SD_GET_FLAG(hsd, SDMMC_FLAG_RXFIFOHF)) { for(count = 0U; count < 8U; count++) { *pData = SDMMC_ReadFIFO(hsd->Instance); ★★★NOT REACHABLE!!!★★★ pData++; } } if((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) >= SDMMC_DATATIMEOUT) { return HAL_SD_ERROR_TIMEOUT

Hi,How to use I2C with BLE , I got return HAL_ERROR when I read/write register data from sensor. Thanks.

Please suggest me some documents explain about RadioSetRxDutyCycle.Thanks.

Our hardware, based on the ST25DV, needs to communicate with a smart phone and send/receive short bursts of data. I have the FTM already working but we are also looking to use the NDEF protocol so we would be compatible with the iOS/Android standards. I will be glad to hear your professional opinion on this since this is our first NFC project.Thank you,Nir.
