Hello,Working on a custom BLE server (peripheral role), I face a trouble exporting the working sources from a Nucleo project (STM32WB55) to a custom board (STM32WB55) project.Everything is working fine on the Nucleo: advertissing, connection, bidirectional communication etc...On the custom board, the BLE master sees the advertissing slave, but there is no way to connect to it. It fails connecting!2 softwares were used on the Master side: ST BLE Toolbox and nRF Connect. Both give same results.The nRF connect show an additional log error 133(0x85): GATT Error.The custom board does not implement LSE crystal. HSE is used instead. I follow this URL but cannot find CFG_BLE_LSE_SOURCE in BLE configuration.(community.st.com/s/article/configuring-stm32wb-for-bluetooth-le-without-an-lse-crystal). I was expecting a trouble from this point, and found several ticket on the knowledge base, but no one have solution:- community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000C3BaK3SQK/migration-from-nucleo-to-my-own-board

Using:CubeMX 6.6.1FW package STM32Cube FW_WL V1.2.0Goal:From an IOC file, pressing generate in CubeMX generates 2 projects, each with their own main file. Each project can be compiled separately, and then joined during debugging (or linking externally), similar to how the hardware semaphore example is.Current behavior:Code is generated as a single project as seen in single-core MCUsThank you

Hello dear ST community,I am working on ST boards for a while. However, this is my first time on community questions, sorry for any mistakes.Facts:CubeIDE 1.16.1STM32F746 Discovery board. TIM1 interrupt enabled and interrupt period is 1MS. (ARR = 21600-1, PSC = 10-1)I change my OUTPUT pins connected to inputs on same board with some delays (delays are between 100 and 1000 ms)Try to see the variables on debug mode after pin changes.There is a state machine working on interrupt routine. Problem:While trying to see variable values, I put breakpoints in while() loop. However, if the interrupt frequency is as high as 1000 Hz, my debug mode stops in breakpoints and when I click resume debug stays in same breakpoint and nothing changes. But when I remove breakpoints and resume, code flows correctly (I can see values changing if I stop run or remove and put debug points). When IT frequency is low as 1, 2, 5... Hz I can see debug stops on breakpoints and resumes.Thoughts:I am thinking that, hig

The background is I am trying to build a pass through or charge through dongle like application. Using a G0 with 2 UCPD ports, port 0 as sink, and port 1 as DRP, using the respective TCPP chipsMy goal is to have the input port 0, get the available PDO's, subtract the power consumed by the device, then pass these adjusted PDO's to the output, port 1, letting the up stream device chose. Once a PDO is selected on port 1, port 0 would also select the corresponding PDOI have a couple questions about implementing this with UCPD on STM. I'm just fumbling around with a test project (no HW yet) but I can't seem to see how one would dynamical set PDO's. Specifically:Can PDO's be set and removed dynamically during run time?What part of the PD code would be the best area to edit / add this functionality ?Cheers

Hi,I'm trying save some data into EEPROM after successful storage of first byte for second byte it goes to hard fault irq. Can anyone help me out from this issuevoid Save_data(float Data) { char Buff[15];unsigned long Address=0x08080000; sprintf(Buff,"%f\n",Data); for(int i=0;i<15;i++) { HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); if(Buff[i] == '\n') { HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAMDATA_BYTE,Address++,'\0'); break; } HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAMDATA_BYTE,Address++,Buff[i]); HAL_FLASH_Lock(); } return; }

IN STM32WB55 touch sensing features, at which range of capacitance value touch sensor can be used?It say few picofarad, do any exact capacitance range for proper working?if i use a dedicated touch sensor with 100pf nominal value do it will work?

Greetings,can you please tell me where can I find the version history for the STM32CubeWL Release v1.2.0?Latest version on GitHub is for v1.1.0.Specifically, changes in the "radio_ex.h" and the related files since your examples on the GitHub repo don't work with the v1.2.0 of this file.When will the repo be updated?Best regards,Domagoj

Dear Sir.Using stm32u585 , The external clock on OSC32 pins is 32.768 Khz.I need to config LPTIM2 to run on 32.768 Khz with no success .How do I configure the SystemClock_Config() to make LPTIM2 to run on 32khz.Attached a code/** * @brief System Clock Configuration * @retval None */void SystemClock_Config(void){ RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ if (HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } HAL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess(); /** Configure LSE Drive Capability */ __HAL_RCC_LSEDRIVE_CONFIG(RCC_LSEDRIVE_HIGH);  /** Initializes system oscillators */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType =   RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_LSE|RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_MSI; RCC_OscInitStruct.LSEState =      RCC_LSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.MSIState =      RCC_MSI_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct

Hello Community,I'm currently working with STM32F429ZGT6 and going to fabricate pcbs for that. I also suspect that I may switch to STM32F746ZGT6 in future.So, I want to know will the same design be compatible for F746.Regards,Keshav Aggarwal

I am currently developing a touchgfx GUI for a custom board which is based on the STM32F429-DISCO, therefore I use said board for the fundamental development. While initializing hardware button controll via GPIO_EXTI lines I have run into a strange issue I can workaround for now but not solve. Initially I planned on using GPIOB EXTI lines 12 to 15 (PB12 - PB15) for external buttons. The procedure is based on the tutorials STM32 Graphics: Using “Hardware button is clicked? at Interactions, Part 1 and Part 2. But for some reason EXTI line 14 and 15 do not work on GPIO Port B. I have tried the same EXTI lines on different ports and they are working fine, so I figured it has something to do with Port B but I can't wrap my head around the cause for it.It's not that big of an issue for now as I have a few more pins I can use for said EXTI lines but I would like to know why PB14/15 do not work. So if you have a clue on this I would highly appreciate your help!Callback function for EXTI where

Hi, I'm trying to leverage the capability of lower words to be programmed once to one bit by bit to implement a sort of "forever growing counter", not sure if there is a proper naming for this.In the lower OTP zone, if I understood correctly, word 10 and word 11 are for OEM, does that mean that they are totally free to be used?Best regards,Charles

If I create a STM32 static-lib project there are no linker settings available.Why?Please refer the attached image.

I have problem to get USB to work. I'm using custom board but I know that USB works because if I boot the board with the delivered image (MyIR) the USB works. I'm using buildroot with the 5.10 kernel and the linux kernel configuration from bootlin git. ADS_DRDY_Pin is PC11. When I change GPIO_MODE_IT_RISING to GPIO _MODE_IT_FALLING, my ble server can not work normally. Rising is ok, but I can't find my ble device(in falling). Thank in advance.

HiI'm new to STM32, I'm jumping from Arduino, and I'm out of my depth, perhaps I can humbly ask for some help.I've done basic projects with the Nucleo board, and I wanted to give a try with a simple code on a barebone chipI have this STM32F401CBU6 on UFQFPN-48, mounted on a Proto-Advantage SMT to Breadboard adapter, naked, just the MCU, no decoupling capacitors, pull-down resistors, etc., just naked.I intend to put it on my breadboard, power it with a 3.3V Power Supply, and program it to blink a LED.The code will be written with the CubeIDE and loaded via a Nucleo 64 reference board UM1724, which has an integrated STLink that according to the documentation, can be decoupled for the onboard STM32 target (by removing some header pins) and then used to program an external STM32 via SWDChapter 3.13 of the IC F401xB datasheet (that is the external MCU I'm using) talks about the power scheme, and I was wondering:To just power on the MCU and receive SDW program, do I need to provide power to

I am using an 8MHz crystal HSE, and the application (MBED) is able to use CAN, USB, UART, etc properly, so the timing for the HSE is setup correctly. When I try to use the HSE as a source for MCO1 or MCO2 however, it does not work, I get no output. If I use the HSI on MCO1 or the PLLCLK on MCO2, I get the expected frequencies, but nothing on HSE. I am using an ABM3B-8.000MHZ-10-1-U-T (10pF) crystal with 15pF load caps, is that relevant at all?

Hi,Chapter 30 in RM0454 (page 980) is missing the information about the unique device identifier.It is very well described in the F0 RM0091, and I would like the same level of information to be added in the next revision of RM0454.For the time being, can I suppose that I can follow F0 UID for G0 ?Thank you very much.

Hi , After pin selection and configuration when I try to generate code for keil it does not allow me to change the IDE in project setting, how can I do that?

Hello, I am working with a SPC560P and have a problem with float numbers. As soon as I write a calculation with float numbers in my loop, the loop becomes extremely slow (microsecond range for a simple calculation in the loop).What can be the reason for this?Do I have to activate or set anything else and if so where?Please help me Thanks Timo Blessing

I want to know when or how exactly the RX callback function is triggered on the SPC560P - Disp Discovery board. I have created the function at the low level driver at the serial configuration and see it also in serial_lld_cfg. I have defined it afterwards. I want to work in asynchronous mode to avoid blocking. I can also receive single bytes with the function sd_lld_read(). But the callback function is never called or executed. what is the reason? Actually I would like to receive more than just one byte which is why I want to use the callback function as an interrupt. Can anyone help me here? Thanks Timo

Hi,how does it work to create a static library for a dual core processor? While starting under CubeIDE with "New Project", the point "Static Library" is not usable, for instance, when use the STM32H745 (M4 & M7 Core). Is an application note available, how to do it?Thanks,Jan

Hi, I'm using STM32F767NGHXX for a project. It is mandatory for me to use USART3 and UART7. I want to use both uarts with DMA transmissions but this 2 uarts use the same DMA Streams. Other option could be use one with DMA and the other use normal UART Functions. The problem is that one of the requirements for this project is to use as less blocking functions as possible, so DMA functions are better in this case as long as they use less the micro.Therefore I'm trying to deInit both UARTs + DMA and reInit them with or without DMA config (depending on which UART needs to transmit, it will be using the DMA that time), but I'm not able to make it working. Once I link one Uart to the DMA at the beginning of my code, it would be the only one that I could use with DMA. (Once the Chanell is selected for a DMA Stream, it seems to not be possible to Change)Know anyone how to make this change in the Selected Chanell in the DMA Stream)?Or Is it impossible and have I to use one UART with DMA and the
