Hello,I am trying to do this tutorial that I found online for measuring an ADC continuously and displaying the voltage read on an LCD Display:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbWOv_0Lp-UI am not using the same board though. He is using STM32F746G-DISCO. I am using the STM32H7B3I-EVAL board, which has a built in potentiometer connected to ADC1 (PA0_C). It measures the 3.3V and changes the measured voltage based on the potentiometer position. I am trying to enable the ADC according to that tutorial (Starting at time stamp 5:15), he enables Scan Conversion Mode, then goes to DMA Settings, adds ADC1, makes it circular, then enables DMA Continuous Requests and sets End of Conversion Mode to "EOC Flag at the end of all conversions". This is also how his menu looks: Mine, however, is different. I cannot enable Scan Conversion Mode. Only option is disabled. Additionally, there is no "DMA Continuous Request." Finally, the End of Conversion Selection menu only has "End of sequence of convers

I'm trying to use the QSPI interface in Indirect mode to read, write, and erase to an MT25Q Flash chip that is found on the B-L462E-CELL1 development kit.Using the HAL QSPI initilization included in the STM32CubeL4 package, I am finding the interface misconfigured. The IO3 data line idles high, while all others idle low.Additionally, it looks like the QSPI peripheral is using all 4 IO lines for instructions, addresses, and data even though I am specifying 1_LINE in each QSPI command, as evidenced by the number of cycles Are there any known issues with this HAL package?

Hi,I am trying to measure the duty cycle and the frequency of a standard servo PWM signal (50Hz and 5% to 10% duty cycle) using STM32F446. I have configured the timers to be in PWM input mode, and I can read both the frequency and duty cycle. The measurement is very accurate with the 32 bit timers (TIM2 and TIM5) down to sub uS for pulse length. However, with the 16 bit timers the frequency and the duty cycle measurement is very inaccurate. I believe this is due to the prescaler I used. I had to use a prescaler greater than 50 with the 16 bit timers to avoid overflow. However with the 32 bit timer I used a prescaler of 0. Interestingly, it is also very inaccurate when I used the same prescaler on the 32bit that I had to use for the 16 bit timer. Below are some tests I did to measure 50Hz and 2000uS pulse length, the clock frequency to the timer is 84MHz.50 Prescaler -> 51.5Hz; 1960.714uS75 Presclaer -> 50.667Hz,1973.214uS100 Prescaler -> 50.49Hz, 1979.76uS500 Prescaler -> 5

I'm bringing up a new project using STM32F733, with code generated from CubeMX version 6.6.1, with difficulty. Looking for suggestions.1) When I change the HAL timebase source from the default SysTick to something else, I've tried TIM2 and TIM10, then the call to HAL_Init() never returns, it runs out of stack. I've increased stack from the default 0x200 up to 0x2000, still runs out of stack. This is before any of my own code is called, only cube generated code.2) Leaving the HAL timebase source set to SysTick, it steps through ok with the debugger (Segger J-Link). If I add a tight for loop doing nothing but incrementing a variable, stepping through, looking at the call stack, things look normal for a short while. The variable looks like it increments about 1,500 times when I let it run and then the micro starts stepping through unexpected code. The call stack showing nothing but __iar_SB + 0x1fcfed56, example, the offset from __iar_SB increments as it runs.Where should I be looking? Ha

From the datasheet PA0 is listed as a 5V tolerant IO (FT type). Does this maximum of 5V still hold if the pin is mapped to the ADC input? If not, what is the maximum reading for this case?

I'm now trying to blink a LED on my STM32MP157-DK2 board.I have managed to run and even modify the GPIO_EXTI example, but I'd like to do this from scratch.1) I first created a project using CubeMX and wrote my code in the IDE.It seems that I can't use the BSP_LED_*** instructions as the build gives compilation errors : why can't I build my code when using these instructions ? Do I miss an include ?2) Then I tried to use the HAL_GPIO_*** instructions. This time, the build is successful, but the debug does not blink the LED.I have seen in the manual UM2367 that the blue LED is connected to PD11, so I try this:HAL_GPIO_TogglePin (GPIOD, GPIO_PIN_11); HAL_Delay (100); /* Insert delay 100 ms */but it doesn't blink. What did I miss?Thanks for your help.

i have set enables 1,2,3 and 4 as 1100 which is address 2 , but for some reason the speaker is not open and voltage is not passing through it which means i cant move on and give orders through i2c registers, can you please explain what the reason might be?

STM32F767 SAI SPDIF Output, NODIV and Clock GeneratorWhen NODIV bit is set in SAIx->CR1, the SPDIF output frequency is as it should be.Example:clock in is 25.6 MHz, sampling rate is 200 kHz, factor is 128, as it should with "symbol rate" (2 channels with 32 bit -> 64) times 2 (biphase mark code).But when the NODIV bit is cleared (MCLK divider is ON), and MCKDIV[3:0] is set to 0000, the clock is divided by 4. (clock in 25M6 -> sampling rate 50k)Why's that so?And why is that not documented? (RM0410, latest)Or what am I mssing?Thanks in advance.

We have custom board design based on stm32157C-DK2. We just ise other LCD panel. We have updated device tree and probe function of panel is called. But in method: ltdc_load it fails to find any panel.bridge when calling: drm_of_find_panel_or_bridge (return -517 EPROBE_DEFFER)Is there something else to check if we want to use other panel please? Thanks.

I'm developing my custom board using a STM32WB55VGY6TR microcontroller and I want to use the Nucleo-WB55 developer kit as a programmer for my custom circuit board.However, I cannot start debugging using STM32cubeIDE. The IDE said that failed to start the GDB server and error in initializing the ST-LINK device.I agree my chip assembly could have a problem, but I feel that the chip is rigidly bound to the board. So, I am pretty sure there is no miss connection.I connected the programming Jumper pin of Nucleo-WB55 to the STM32WB55VGY6TR below.GND => GND of microcontroller (Vss in right-top side)NRST = NRST of microcontroller pin with a 10k resistor, 100 nF capacitor, and Schottky diode. Hi! I'm really new to this world, so I'll appreciate the simplicity of your answers.I have an STM32MP157F-DK2 at the University and I need to measure a voltage signal and an UART signal. Can I use only the dual Cortex®-A7 32 bits for configuring the board pins? Or do I must use the Cortex®-M4?Either way, I'm having problems with understanding all this. I have finished reading the instalation wikis, what's the difference between working with the Cortex®-M4 with STM32CubeMP1 installed, and working with the Cortex®-A7 32 bits with the Linux Kernell?I need to create a GUI that shows the voltage signal an the UART that represents temperature, but I need the pins of the board for detecting those signals.

HiI am a little bit lost on this particular discovery board. I connect it via CN7 (STLink V2 connector), and jumper settings are as supposed. The user guide says that LD6 should be red, and LD5 should be green. LD6 blinks red, and LD5 is constantly green.However, my STLink does not emulate and does not show up in the device manager. STM32CubeProgrammer does not recognize any STLink, either.So even though I am having power attached to my board, the STLink does not emulate.Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Isn't the STM32F103 (the STLink) supposed to be preprogrammed, so that I can flash the actual MCU on the discovery board?Thank you,

I am using a nucleo l4r5zi.I would like to use the GPIOs on this board as inputs and get the value of those inputs from software.Specifically, I would like to use PG2 to accomplish this.I have the following setup and am inputting 3.3v into PG2, but for some reason I cannot read the value of the input.・Pin initilizationstatic void set_pin(void) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; __HAL_RCC_GPIOG_CLK_ENABLE(); HAL_PWREx_EnableVddIO2();   /*Configure GPIO pin : PG2 */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_2; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_INPUT; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOG, &GPIO_InitStruct) }・ReadHAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOG, GPIO_PIN_2)Are there any settings that are missing?

I'm trying to blink variation of morze code with specific string on yellow led, but the led just turns on and stays on for a little bit and then turns off.When I try to debug it step by step it works as it should, but the moment I press run, it does the same think. If anyone can shed some light on this, I would really appreciate it!Thank you! char* name= "text"; char *string; /* USER CODE END 2 */   /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { for(;*name!= '\0';name++) { string = morze(*name); for(int i = 0;string[i] != '\0';i++) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOE, GPIO_PIN_1); if(string[i] == '.'){ HAL_Delay(500); }else if(string[i] == '-') { HAL_Delay(1000); }else { int a = 0; } HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOE, GPIO_PIN_1); } } /* USER CODE END WHILE */   /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ }   char* morze(char a) { switch (a) { case 'x': return "-..-"; case 'e': return "."; case 't': return "-"; de

On data scheet of device (PCF8574T mounted on LCM1602) the addres is 0100 1110=4E but the program still doesn't show me any letter on LCD. Where is wrong? I cheked many times the pin and them are right. Same thing on Cube IDE.

Hi, I have a custom board with the st25r95 . I have changed the platfrom.h file and I am able to read UUID, but I need the device to be in card emulation mode if i set RFAL_FEATURE_LISTEN_MODE to true I am getting a linker error:In file rfal_rfst25r95.c undefined reference to `st25r95Listen'undefined reference to `st25r95RearmListen'undefined reference to `st25r95SetACFilter'undefined reference to `st25r95SPIGetLmState'And it seems that this functions are not implemented!Is there any working example, or documentation to implement card emulation?

Hello,is it possible to swap some address pins or is it necessary to follow up the pin given in the datasheet?Lets say i need to change that FMC_A0 does not go to PF0, it should be connected to PF1, and FMC_A1 connected to PF0.And for data i need to swap some signals, FMC_D0 to PD15 instead of PD14 and FMC_D1 to PD14.At the IOC File i can not choose other FMC pins at the MCU.Is it possible to change it in the software that it still work when i swap some signals or is it impossible?Thank you very much.

Hi. I made a project with stm32cubemx and add touchgfx.then I added some images to the asset folder and compile the project.I used NOR Flash(External Flash) for saving the images.the problem is that the memory usage in cubeide for pictures is larger than all images in the asset folder. This issue causes the external memory to fill up quickly. Does anyone know how to solve it?

I connected a LED to the PA11 pin of STM32WB55VGY microcontrollerand I want to toggle it.So, I'm trying to use HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(xx, yy) but I cannot know the "xx (GPIO_Typedef)" of PA11 pin.Where can I found which pin is which GPIOx?

I had success when using the ULPI interface on a STM32H7A3 (on the nucleo board) using an external ULPI transceiver board https://www.waveshare.com/usb3300-usb-hs-board.htmbut when porting over to the STM32H7B0, I am not having much success. I believe the only difference between the chips are that the 7B0 uses PC2_N and PC3_N which I have set as digital during initialization using the HALHAL_SYSCFG_AnalogSwitchConfig(SYSCFG_SWITCH_PC2, SYSCFG_SWITCH_PC2_CLOSE); HAL_SYSCFG_AnalogSwitchConfig(SYSCFG_SWITCH_PC3, SYSCFG_SWITCH_PC3_CLOSE);also I have set the CRS sync source to USB HS with the same result[Port6] FailedEnumeration : Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)The external board has been known to arrive DOA judging from other posts in this forum but it worked a couple of weeks ago on the H7A3 variant.Are there any other concerns I should be aware of when using the ULPI on a H7B0 (VBTx)?
