I use a glass for our VL53L1X sensor. But we found there is a crosstalk problem and have to use crosstalk compensation. We use VL53L1X ULD for our device. There are three functions about crosstalk.int8_t VL53L1X_CalibrateXtalk(uint16_t dev, uint16_t TargetDistInMm, uint16_t *xtalk);VL53L1X_ERROR VL53L1X_GetXtalk(uint16_t dev, uint16_t *Xtalk);VL53L1X_ERROR VL53L1X_SetXtalk(uint16_t dev, uint16_t XtalkValue);Could you tell how to use these functions to compensation crosstalk affect?best regardsDai Sai

I have an application where I need to use ECDSA to check a signature using the secp192r1 curve. However, I don't see a clear define for this in cmox_ecc.h. Is this supported under a different name?

I'm running the SBSFU on a STM32H7 where I can succesful upload a new application and it is starting. The application is running on an external flash. The question is, can I simply change the clock system settings to the applications need at startup or do the bootloader and app must have the same clock settings? Because the bootloader already sets the clock settings for it's own need. Can I usethe same clock settings as it would run as a standalone app?The second question is, the application is running azure RTOS which uses the SysTick as a base timer und the normal tick is incremented via TIM6. Is this possible to simply change the Tick sources or do I have to stop the current clock system inany way?I appriciate your help

I tried the same code on both microcontrollers, but STM32F103RET6 freezes with NVIC_SystemReset(); Can you help me please?

Edge-triggered interrupts had been used by us to identify various system states. However, it appears that the interrupts are now sometime erroneous and cause an undesirable state change. This led us to search for implementations where level-triggered interrupts would determine when a state would change.Note: STM32G041F6P6 is the MCU being used.

I'm trying to make use of the HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA() functionality.So far no reaction on an IDLE event. The corresponding HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallbackgets called when a certain amount of bytes has been received, but not on an IDLE event.The development board I use: NUCLEO-L031K6The UART of interest:USART2So here's my setup:I added the following code:.../* USER CODE BEGIN PFP */void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint16_t size);/* USER CODE END PFP */.../* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA(&huart2, rx_buf_usart2, rx_buf_size);__HAL_DMA_DISABLE_IT(&hdma_usart2_rx, DMA_IT_HT);/* USER CODE END 2 */.../* USER CODE BEGIN 4 */void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint16_t size){ if (huart->Instance == USART2) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LD3_GPIO_Port, LD3_Pin); HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA(&huart2, rx_buf_usart2, rx_buf_size); __HAL_DMA_DISABLE_IT(&hdma_usart2_rx, DMA_IT_HT); }}/* USER CODE BEGIN 4 */...rx_buf_size i

Hello team am Receving 16bit ADC conversion data to DMA in STM32H745i Disco in CubeIDE software. Here DMA interrupt is generating by default in software (i am disabled the interrupt in programming after that program counter is out of control) I dont want any ADC/DMA interrupt . DMA sholud receives the data contineously without any interrupt any solution for this ?

Hi,I try to combine STM32MP157CAA3 with DDR3L 8Gbits density. I modified cubemx to support 8Gbit memory and recompiled the Openstlinux mp1-v22.11.23 kirkstone. The problem is that DDR3 is detected in the first stage U-Boot but not executed 2nd stage U-Boot and reboot a few times after stack. The question is do STM32MP157CAA3 support 8Gbits density DDR3 memory in one chip and if yes what is wrong?Log from boot processNOTICE: CPU: STM32MP157CAA Rev.Z NOTICE: Model: STMicroelectronics custom STM32CubeMX board - openstlinux-5.15-5 INFO: PMIC version = 0x21 INFO: Reset reason (0x15): INFO: Power-on Reset (rst_por) INFO: FCONF: Reading TB_FW firmware configuration file from: 0x2ffe2000 INFO: FCONF: Reading firmware configuration information for: stm32mp_io INFO: Using USB INFO: Instance 2 INFO: Boot used partition fsbl1 NOTICE: BL2: v2.6-stm32mp1-r2.0(debug):v2.6-dirty(a1f02f4f) NOTICE: BL2: Built : 13:14:26, Nov 23 2021 INFO: BL2: Doing platform setup INFO: RAM: DDR3-DDR3L 16bits

Hello,Does sourcing the MCU clock from the ST25R3916(B) improve the RX sensitivity in card emulation mode? Is the strongest external load modulation obtained by setting the drain resistor (R301 in the X-NUCLEO-06A1/08A1) to zero?AN5768 states that the ST25R3916B has "advanced shaping of NFC-A, B, V, F modulation waveforms". Does this improve the card emulation mode as well?

Good afternoon,I would like to use the Sensor tile on which is running the en.fp-sns-allmems1 fw to directly record sensor measurements on the SD card. The idea is to power on the sensor tile, then dobletapping on the sensor tile to start recording directly on the SD card; once I dobletapping on the sensor tile, it stops recording on SD. In a nutshel, I want en.fp-sns-allmems1 to work like en.stsw-stlkt01 on the sensor tile without interacting with the BLE app, because I am interested in having quaternions recorded in csv and en.stsw-stlkt01 does not support quaternions. Should I try to (a) adapt en.fp-sns-allmems1 to do as I said above or should I try to include a library for computing and recording quaternions in en.stsw-stlkt01? If it is better to do (b) what library do you suggest ? Since I am new to programming at these level could you provide me some hints and examples, please ?

In follow up to my earlier question on reading Mailbox Memory from our iOS app, we are trying to pass the Read Msg command, but looks like this needs address flag set and UID needs to be passed. But when we try to pass the address flag and UID along with "AC" read command code, we get Stack Error along with Invalid Parameters error. The most recently released ST ios App seems to work fine with same Custom command. The source code in your site is not updated to reflect the latest changes you have made. So, we would like to get the latest source code and the code implementation specifically for Reading mailbox bufferShould we always check Message Buffer Length before calling ReadMsg (or) we can always 256 bytes of memory with null data returned for empty bufferCould you please also point to the section in the Data sheet to refer the different mailbox command implementations to understand which commands would need .address request flags along with UID

I am using the UX_Host_MSC example project. When a connect a USB drive to the USB-C port, the demo app detects a physical connection but power is never activated.

I'm having trouble with my STM32h757 processor. I'm trying to sample 2000 samples using ADC3+DMA1/DMA2/BDMA, but it's not working as expected. I set up the ADC to work in continuous mode and the DMA to work in circular mode with the address increment set to half-word. However, when I start the sampling process, the DMA doesn't increment the address and only the first value in the buffer is changing. I've tried defining the buffer in domain 1, 2, and 3, but it didn't make a difference in the behavior.IN addition, everything works fine when I use ADC1 instead of ADC3.Any ideas on what might be causing the issue and how to fix it?Thanks for your help.

I am usinghttps://os.mbed.com/platforms/ST-Nucleo-L496ZG-P/#board-pinoutwith this manualhttps://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um2179-stm32-nucleo144-boards-mb1312-stmicroelectronics.pdfNow I would like to learn Analog-to-Digital Conversion (ADC): Read the voltage and current signals from the sensors (that normally using for hose single phase energy meters )And learn how to configure and use the ADC on STM32 board My great appreciate to recommend me topics, articles , or YouTube video that starting from basic ,Also which model sensors buy , connect to board and test them.

So i use to stm32cubeide & stm32h743zi. I want to create a variable that the system does not initailize even if the after software reset. just like __no_init in IAR.i follow this method. but i can't.https://atadiat.com/en/e-how-to-preserve-a-variable-in-ram-between-software-resets/

Hello,I am trying to access an external flash memory (32 mbit) using stm32L4. Stm32L4 has OctoSpi. i have configured the OctoSpi with dual quad disabled but yet, i am not able to access the external flash mem. The external flash memory supports single, dual and quad spi modes. I tried to set the octo spi to use just 1 line inorder to read the manufacturer id from the flash memory chip but it always returns 0.Is there any example/stater guide available for OctoSpi on stm32L4xx.Thanks!

Hello, I have two different projects in parallel right now, both of which use STM32G0B1 MCUs. On both projects, with completely seperate hardware, the VREFpin that connects to the internal VREFBUF peripheral is innacurate. These pins are just brought out to test points, nothing more. While configured for a 2.5V output, they measure about 2.9V and have more noise on them than I would expect for a reference voltage. Register values are as follows:VREFBUF_CSR: 0xDVREFBUF_CCR: 0x18I've done other STM32 projects using VREFBUF without issues. Is there something different regarding the STM32G0B1 parts? Is anything needed in hardware to support VREFBUF? Our VDD is 3.3V.Thanks,Rob

I have a X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1/NUCLEO-G431RB eval board I am trying to connect to a motor with hall sensors. The motor has leads labeled Hu, Hv, and Hw, but J1 on the driver board is labeled A+/H1, B+/H2, Z+/H3. What is the correlation between these two nomenclatures? Thanks,Dan

I have recently bricked my STM32H7 discovery kit by trying to select the M4-only boot option, but I am no longer able to connect the debugger. I have had a similar problem with the Arduino Giga board but I managed to "unbrick" it by running a bootloader and pressing the "BOOT0" button. According to the STM32H7 manual, the bootloader should is loaded by a combination of a high BOOT0 and the status of certain option bits (over which I obviously do not have any control any longer). For the Discovery board, I have soldered in a button that shorts out R192 and which I then press while powering up / resetting, but neither the STM32CubeProgrammer nor the ST flash loader demo is able to connect through the UART (via the in-built ST link programmer). Do you have any advice on how to start the bootloader? Surely there must be a way to save that board? Do I need to use a different USART port? Many thanks, Clem

Trying to bring up a bootloader. On the last step and having difficulty getting the screen working. All the LTDC initialization looks ok and am enabled the line interrupt and the transfer error interrupt. When enabling the LTDC getting slammed with underrun interrupts. Even if tweaking the handle to automatically clean the underrun interrupt they just keep coming. Anybody run into this or any suggestions?

Hello, I wanted to ask if anyone actually is doing (or has already done successfully) the STM32WB Getting Started Series on youtube (STM32WB Getting Started Series - YouTube) and the according Nucleo Pack (P-NUCLEO-WB55 - Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 Nucleo Pack including USB dongle and Nucleo-64 with STM32WB55 MCUs, supports Arduino Uno V3 and ST morpho connectivity - STMicroelectronics) ?I'm currently facing the problem that even If I follow all steps in the tutorial in Detail (Flashing the FUS, then Flashing the BLE stack, then build and upload the BLE application) and the whole process works without any errors or warnings, in the end my smartphone is not able to detect the Application with the ST BLE Toolbox app. I already tried other apps like "Light Blue App" but the problem remains the same.A list of the software versions I'm currently Using:CubeMX - V 1.10.1CubeProg - V 2.13.0FUS-File: "stm32wb5x_FUS_fw_for_fus_0_5_3.bin" - BLE V 1.16.0 - Flashing-Address: 0x080EC000BLE-Stack-File:
