When I create a new STM32 project a target selector doesn"t save Favorites. If I save a search for my STM32F3Discovery board it saves this but do not open after.

Привет, ?лек?ей,

now I understand.

The issue you are describing is a known bug which will be corrected with STM32CubeIDE 1.4.0, which is on its way and will be released soon. You can already look forward to it.

BTW: do you know our training portal containing a bunch of STM32 MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), MCU Training Courses and STM32 Online Trainings?

Just have a look at: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/learning/stm32-education.html

Good luck,

/Peter

The approach is:

  1. select a board
  2. if you want to select it as favorite just click the star at the beginning of the line of your target board (in your video at 0:29)
  3. after that it will be selected next time, if you click the star at the top left, as you did at position 0:17

Does it answer your question?

If yes, please add a comment to your Youtube video that other guys know, what is the solution. 😀

Good luck!

Hello, Peter. 🙂

It works out until I restart a CubeIDE. Then I have to do it all over again.

I'm at novice level for now. I create a lil projects oftenly to learn a simple things. LEDs are blinking but 44780 driven LCD remains blank. 🙂

PS. I"m getting the error 503 on that youtube account since this morning. It seems somebody's blocking my comments (for my comments? ;).

I"ll put a comment about as soon as we"ll find an answer and I'll be able to comment.

Sorry that.
