L6480H stall detection does not work. What should I do?

Hi everyone!

I want to use the ST EVAL6480H board to control a stepper motor but I get stuck with the stall detection feature of the chip. My problem is that it always generates stall (step loss). I have tried it with different configurations and with different stepper motors also.

Also the Overcurrent detection signals all the time.

The threshold values set to 1V, which means approximately 30A current, but it has no effect on it.

I tried to spin both at low and high speed. It is the same.

By using different stepper motors I could also exclude the chance of low Ke constant.

In a former post (L6480H Stall Detection - Does It Really Work?) somebody has already asked the similar question, but it was closed without any answer.

Could anyone help?
