Hi,

I am trying to use multiple VL6180X sensors and attach them to a robotic arm. Is there the possibility of interference between them? If the answer is yes, is there any way to avoid it?

Thanks

Marina

Marina,

There is no interference between them, Tests have been done.

I was using 4 VL6180x on my robot, no problem. You can use those devices together.

Hi julien@ST

I would like to use ten vl6180x devices and I would like to arrange them in a line whose intervals are closer than 5mm (or as near as possible).

You answered like following:

>I was using 4 VL6180x on my robot, no problem. You can use those devices together.

So, please let me ask you.

How many vl6180x devices can I arrange in a line without interference?

And, how many of the minimum interval do I need?

Alternatively, please let me know the case which arranges many vl6180x devices as close as possible and works correctly.

Best regards

Ishikawa
