Add webp format support for avatars and others. It helps to save disk usage and make user experience with this forum more convenient. For now I can’t use webp because “Sorry, we couldn't upload your file because we don't support that file type. Supported file types: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif”

I suggest to allow like and dislike votes. Dislike is important to indicate that the post contains wrong/weird information or working but not good technical decision. This is how best practices work.

The new forum seems to be wrapping lines within source code blocks; eg lines 44 & 45 here: This really messes with the layout - surely, it’s one of the things which a code block specifically should not do ?

I have topic. I can’t edit original post so I should add comment when I have new information/solution for a problem. Then I got new Notification. I suggest to not notify user about his comments. 

I just got a notification to tell me that a solution has been marked in one of my own threads.I really don’t need a notification to tell me that - because I did it myself! In general, it’s only the thread creator who can mark the solution - so the thread creator should never need a notification of this.(the exception would be when a moderator marks a solution, but that is an exception - not usual)

User should have ability to edit title of his topic. This is how good forums work.

When attempting to reply or thumb-up while not logged in, a popup window appears which directs me to log in. However, the wording there is confusing to users:Why would I as user be concerned with “SSO” and “Saml2?”I recommend to remove “Login with SSO” and rename “Login with Saml2” in the button to mere “Login” or “Click here to log in”.JW

Gramar = Grammar. 😁I am currently studying the GPDMA peripheral in the STM32U5XX.I am trying to use a linked-list with 2D addressing to control an ILI9488 from the FMC, speeding refresh rates up further apart from fully using the GPU2D. I am running into some issues with the GPDMA, so I need to study it further.The comments were written by engineers, and they probably spent more time on the quality of good and reliable code than on writing the comments. I'm a bit like that myself, but I expected slightly better comments from ST.May I provide feedback on the text in the header of stm32u5xx_hal_dma_ex.c?I have corrected the spelling of that part and this can be used to improve these comments. No pun intended, but help offered.What’s the best way to do this? Posting it here, or better send some private email to the involved party?

Please disable this restriction.  I don’t see how allowing everyone to download TouchGFX Designer can violate any regulation.

When writing a reply, clicking Send does visually nothing until the thread reloads with the new post.This can take quite a couple of seconds, during which one wonders whether he did click Send properly or what’s going on.It would be nice if clicking Send would result in some immediate visual confirmation, before the actual reload.JW PS> I have no idea what “product area” nor “tags” would this post belong to, so I just clicked some random. Maybe “Other” could be added for such purposes?

Please fix Related topics list for Feedback forum. It is weird to see hardware topics while making topic in Feedback forum section.The same for tags 

I have suggestion. For example I can write post whole day. After about 10 hours while adding image/attachment I get strange msg “Yocto 5.0.webp: Something went wrong, please check your link and try again.” (where Yocto 5.0.webp is a name of my attachment) Perhaps this msg should be fixed to something like “Yocto 5.0.webp: Something went wrong, perhaps your session is expired. You should manually save all your progress and reload the page”

I met the same problem: my account was blocked with msg “You've been banned or your account has been deleted”. I am old member. My post was about stm32 products with links to github repo. Please unblock me. Please allow old member (with history) to challenge the blocking. For me not clear how to do it without another account.

There are a lot of abandoned threads; eg,with no useful replies at all.That one is 2 years old, and still open for comments. Another:Also 2 years old, but that one is closed for comments.The final comment there looks like it is probably the solution, but no confirmation or other feedback from the OP. I think we needs a way to distinguish these abandoned threads from.They should probably be excluded from consideration as ‘Related topics’ - which is how I came across these 2. Not a new issue - it was the same on the old forum - and not urgent.But another for the “future enhancements” list … ? Related: 

There is no ‘Quote’ option on the opening post of a thread; eg, But it’s there on all other posts in a thread:  Seems daft & inconsistent to not have it on the OP !
