There is no mention in the data sheet as there is with the VL53L1X. I am currently using this cover from Hornix - would it work here as well?

@SSeve.1 , I would also be interested in this question. It seems that this sensor has polarized filters which may help with ambient light rejection.

VL53L5CX - can it be used in an outdoor environment? Was hoping that the polarization might help it reject ambient light.

What cover lens should I use with the VL53L5CX?

Will the same cover glass I am using for the VL53L1x work for the VL53L5CX as well? while I found a reference to this cover glass in the VL53L1x data sheet, there is no recommendation for the newer part. I am using the Hornix IR080C0-IC09-A066-2
