Hi experts! Do you know what is my issue? and how can I solve it? I'm using the ST-link v2 with the STM8 part as you can see below.

Hi Tesla DeLorean,

Thank you for your prompt support. I'm using the MCU STM8L151C8.

I solved it with the following steps:

  1. Changing ROP to OFF
  2. Program memory
  3. Read memory

Maybe target MCU selection is wrong. Try select STM8L151x8. See more in UM0991 page 24.

If target MCU selection is ok, you need to remove option bytes readout protection.

When I tried with STVD programmer I got this.

It's either protected or not properly connecting..

Can you ERASE it to remove the protection?

Is this a device that has successfully been used before?
