Hi,

When I moved the default pin assignment to the alternative, in this it is PA15, as the below picture shows PA15 now sports a "pin" icon. What is the significance of this please?

Hello @xuraax ,

In fact, the pin mark is to show that you have done this setting manually and not generated by default.

For more details, you can refer to the section "4.5.4 Pinout menu and shortcuts" and "4.5.7" in the UM1718 STM32CubeMX for STM32 configuration and initialization C code generation - User manual

Note: You can click "Ctrl-O" to show the list of all the manually configured pins.
