This is not exactly an MCU question. With STM32CubeIDE I've got a wrong set of Launch Configuration prototypes on all projects in a workspace.

C/C++ Unit is missing, also STM32 Cortex-M C/C++ Application. Deleting and creating a project from scratch won't help. How can one get a missing Launch Configuration prototype?

Is this something that suddenly appeared on all projects in a workspace?

Is you create a project from scratch in a new workspace does that change anything?

What error are you receiving? Could you provide a screenshot?

Hi I am facing the same problem, following the lorawan stm32 tutorial on youtube (cant post link), but the STM32 Cortex-M C/C++ Application is missing.

I don't think you have an option there because you don't have a debug configuration. If you right click the project in the project explorer you should get the menu to open the debug configurations:

From there you can double click on the "STM32 Cortex-M C/C++ Application" to create your debug configuration:
