STM32F030F4P6 USART transmit is not happening correctly

Hello folks,

I've been started learning STM32 uC and doing UART implementation using HAL library. In this I could see the the transmitted data is received in my tera term terminal, but it is not the one which is transmitted from the code. My code is below

In this interrupt is triggered and call back is hitting, also the TDR register is holding the the proper value, verifies in the SFR for every count of the data to be transmitted. My teraterm settings are below

0693W00000Hq5z6QAB.png0693W00000Hq5zkQAB.pngI'm using STM32CUBE IDE and have not changed any clock configuration. Could any of you help me the reason to find out why the valid data is not reaching the terminal. I have tried the same code with HyperTerminal, in that noting is displayed.

Also verified the USB-UART converter functionality by short the RX and TX of that and ensured there are no issues on the converter.

What data are you receiving and what do you expect instead?

Seems to be at odds with your previous statement. So TeraTerm receives data but HyperTerminal does not?

HSI is not the greatest clock source but probably will work fine at 9600 baud.

Are you sure, that TX stm is connected to RX usw...

Check with scope on PA9 PA10

Hello TDK, thanks for your concentration on my question.

"What data are you receiving and what do you expect instead?"

If you have look in to my code I'm trying to send 2 string through USART1, first sending string as "UART", once this transfer is completed the interrupt call back function is getting triggered and then I'm changing the global variable to send the 2nd string "TEST", but I could see the garbage values only in the teraterm terminal.

"Seems to be at odds with your previous statement. So TeraTerm receives data but HyperTerminal does not?

Yes, I think there are baud rate issues, I'm attaching the register values seen in the debugger.

0693W00000Hq8YIQAZ.png0693W00000Hq8aiQAB.pngAre there any clock configuration to be changed? Kindly guide me.
