I get the following error in terminal quite frequently which crashes the stm32cubeide. This usually happens when I am opening the ".ioc" file.
Attempt to unlock mutex that was not locked
This is my workspace folder if you are interested: https://github.com/yosoufe/ExperineceKemet/tree/master/cubews
I also sometimes see the following error message and then a crash
[xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing reply
[xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called
[xcb] Aborting, sorry about that.
java: ../../src/xcb_io.c:639: _XReply: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_threads_sequence_lost' failed.
I should run it via terminal to see the error. If I click on the icon, it crashes without any error message.
I am running it on Ubuntu 18.04 machine. Is there anyway to run the cubeIDE in safe mode to disable some plugins?
Thanks

Same here, release 1.7.0 and Cube keeps randomly crashing (way worse than previous releases), making it barely usable just for templates generation.

@YEbne.1 @DFedo.1 googling a bit sounds like GTK issue. Which GTK version are you relying on ?
Are you relying on Xorg or Wayland ?
