How to solve my installing problem of STM32CubeIDE?

My name is Kang, and studying demo-kit of NECLEO-IHM001 for motor driver.

Firstly I downloaded STM32CubeIDE ver1.3.0 successfully.

And then, I deleted it due to some wrong operation of STM32CubeMX.

I deleted STM32CubeIDE file on the note-pc screen.

Then I downloaded again it and tried to install but filed with a error message.

"You already have version 1.3.0 of STM32cUBEide installed. Please uninstall this version and then run the installer again"

But, I can't find any uninstall command...

Pls help me.

Hello Kang,

If you receive this error after already uninstalling STM32CubeIDE then go to the Registry Editor and delete this register:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\STMicroelectronics\STM32CubeIDE\1.3.0

Acoording to your guide, I successfully installed again STM32CubeIDE V1.4.0 and I run motor also succesfully.

It took so long time to clear this problem.

I did motor start/stop tests using P-NUCLEO-IHM001-BullRunning demo kit.

From MC Workbench, I did it for 2 projects.

-one is okay! BullRunning motor works well.

-The other is failed! motor doesn't work.

I add my test report for references.
