How to change the location of ioc generated code?

STM32CubeIDE version 1.2.0

Looking to customize where the ioc code is generated to.

I have checked in the .ioc project settings with no luck.

How can I accomplish this?

For STM32CubeIDE projects, it's based on where the file is saved and cannot be changed.

I am surprised there is no way to customize the where the code is generated. and what the structure is.

Some level of standardization seems fine to me. You can always "Save As..." the IOC file to another folder.

Starting 1.3.0 IDE release (current is 1.3.1) you have access to some new feature which is allowing you to relocate and rename your project starting from your .ioc file.

Please have a try File > New > STM32 project from exisitng .ioc file
