Hi All,
I am wondering, does the STM32WL SubGHz MCU support piggybacking, lik the S2LP radio does?
thank you,
Arjan

Hello @Arjan1
As I've said before and after Confirmation from the concerned team:
"STM32WL SubGHz MCU doesn't support the piggybacking hardware like S2LP. This feature can implement by firmware."
Best Regards.

Hello @Arjan1
You can implement the piggybacking on your STM32WL using your firmware implementation.
Best Regards.

Hi @STTwo-32 ,
Thanks for your reply. I am not sure what you mean, do you propose a firmware-implemented equivalent of the hardware-implemented piggybacking mechanism i know from S2LP?
For performance and compatibility reasons i would prefer the exact S2LP mechanism on the STM32WL, but the datasheet is missing any information on that.
Recently i asked a STM representative at a large exhibition about this, and he assured me the hardware in STM32WL is identical to S2LP, but since there is no documentation or reference designs, how should i proceed?
Help would be appriciated!

Arjan

Hello @Arjan1
To have a confirmation about that. I've escalated your request to the STM32WL experts (internally on the ticket number 190208), and I will be back to you as soon as I have an answer.
Best Regards.
