Is there a soldered connection to be made on the STM32L476VG microcontroller to enable the LCD display?

I have installed the example software for the STM32L476VG microcontrooller for the audio recorder.The HAL driver files for the LCD screen has been installed also.The LCD screen wont enable.Is there a soldered connection on the bottom of the PCB board or something that can be done to get the display to operate?

Not a board I have to hand, but seem to recollect the demo working out of the box?

The schematic/user manual should enumerate the solder bridges, and the README files frequently call out specific requirements/expectations.

Try the example, uses the display at some point, and measures current, etc.
