Whats the difference between a STM32L4P5VGT6 and a STM32L4P5VGT6P? Thank you.

Please check datasheet of the product, section 'Ordering information' (nearly last page of datasheet).

P = Dedicated pinout supporting external SMPS. Basically 2 pins of the package named 'VDD12' can be used to supply the internal core voltage with an external power supply (usually an SMPS). If you intend to not use this feature but use this package, you can leave the pins 'not connected' and it will behave like a STM32L4P5VGT6.

For more information about external SMPS connections on VDD12, you can read AN4621 .

The latter has dedicated VDD12 pins for supplying the core voltage directly. These pins are GPIOs on the other version.
