Also USARTs add FIFO (8 words on Rx and Tx), didn't see mention in the Data Sheet, but is covered in the Reference Manual, and changes flag definitions in HAL

L4+ Has APB1/APB2 buses rated to 120 MHz, and 4-bits for Flash wait states, had the STM32L4R9 running at 232 MHz, so again a lot of headroom in this design too.

ST specs are for a wide temperature range, so it is clear that in a restricted environment you have a lot of headroom...
