I have encountered a strange power draw behavior of an STM32L0 device in a battery powered circuit. Using a Nordic power profiler kit, the device draws the nominal 5 uA current after entering Stop mode then seems to "wake-up" and draw 78 mA. The current consumption is of the whole circuit, however all external functionality has been disabled. This happens on most of the circuits built except one circuit. On this circuit the MCU seems to attempt to go into the wake state but then returns to Stop mode current draw. I have tried enabling all features disabled in code and tried other low power modes. I have attached some images of the current draw rising to the "wake" state and in stop mode.
Has anyone experienced this sort of behavior before? What could be the cause?
