Stm32f411ceu6 usb dfu mode usb not recognized

I am a noob in electronics and i am trying to make a quadcopter drone.

I found about stm32f411ceu6 inav firmware on internet github. 

I only used arduino before and this stm32f411ceu6 was my first one.

I connected it with my laptop in dfu mode and used impulseRC driver fixer to install dfu driver and it worked perfectly.

Then i installed the inav firmware.

I can now connect as com10 port and inav configurator is working fine.

But i now whenever i connect my stm32 in dfu mode my windows wont recognize it.

It boots into dfu a pop us shows usb device not recognized.

Basically i cant access my microcontroller in dfu mode for firmware updates.

Can anyone please help me?

Are you using an external HSE oscillator?

Check this Application Note AN2606 which provides details on STM32F411 configuration in Table 67. STM32F411xx configuration in system memory boot mode.
