Hi,
I am using stm32f4 's timer 1 in pwm mode.I configured the board frequency using the excell clock configuration tool. I managed to provide TIM1 a clock source of 8 MHZ. Then i put 20 in timer 1 's prescaler and 8000 in the period so i can get 50 hz. .My problem is that the oscilloscope shows once the pwm configured a 100 hz signal. What am i doing wrong? Here is the summary of system_stm32f4xx.c and my timer configuration.*=============================================================================

Your PLL settings are nonsensical, assuming you have a 25 MHz clock source, the system clock looks to be 32 MHz, however the STM32F4-DISCO has an 8 MHz clock source.

Sorry but i don t get it.As long as i get 8 MHZ at TIM 1 as shown in the clock configuration tool, how can the problem come from the PLL?

You've pasted a comment, I have no idea how your clocks are actually getting programmed, and where this 8 MHz is coming from. The comment is inconsistent with your description, I don't know how to proceed.
I'm apt to believe it's clocking at 16 MHz via the HSI. 16000000 / (20 * 8000) = 100 Hz2015-01-22 11:27 AM
