Hi,
I am using STM32F103RET6 as microcontrller. In ADC1, there is a internal temperature sensor. Can this sensor read up to 150C, what is the temperature reading range of this sensor?
Thanks, Jian

Hi ,
Please refer to Temperature sensor characteristics in your related datasheet

Hello,
ist there any statistical data available about the spread of the parameters?
Thanks

I am running ADC at max frequency 14MHz ADCCLK and like to know if STM32F103RET6 internal temperature sensor can go to 150C.

I am running ADC at max frequency 14MHz ADCCLK if this is what you ask.

Hi ,
According to the Absolute maximum ratings section,Thermal characteristics table in our related datasheet: Stresses above 150C may cause permanent damage to the device.
The supported temperature range: ?40 to 125C
The internal temperature sensor is more suited to applications that detect temperature variations instead of absolute temperatures. If accurate temperature readings are needed, an external temperature sensor part should be used.

Nesrine,
We tested the controller under 150C it is fine. Where did you get temperature sensor temperature range of -40 to 125C? I cannot find it from data sheet.

Hi,
'Where did you get temperature sensor temperature range of -40 to 125C? I cannot find it from data sheet'.:
based on Junction temperature range.'We tested the controller under 150C it is fine.': Exposure to maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.

Hello,
From 5.3.1 section of the datasheet:
the STM32F103RET6 (the suffix is 6) is limited to 105C, and so is it's temperature sensor.
Using it at 150C is out of specification.
It may work for a while but will degrade quickly and correct operation is not guarantied.
BR,
Maxime
