Hello everybody,
I am searching for a CAN transceiver for STM32F103 based board I am developing.I was interested in the AMIS-30633 transceiver, it is automotive certified and it is ISO 11898 compliant. The STM32 CAN pheripheral is developed for CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B (so I have red in the datasheet). Is the newer ISO 11898 standard compatible with the CAN pheripheral of the STM32F103?Thanks in advance #stm32-can

If I understand correctly CAN was standardized some 20 years ago.
Any new chip, including STM32 is very likely compatible with the standard.Options

The question is if a CAN 2.0B certified pheripheral can work with a CAN ISO 11898 certified one.

I think you are asking a wrong question.
You probably mean if ISO11898-1(CAN 2.0, data link layer) is compatible with ISO11989-2(physical layer). They shall be compatible, why not.
