STM32Cube Programmer 'No STM32 target found' error using b96bf446ve Nucleo board

I tried all the walkthrough's form the internet, but couldn't connect the STM32F446VE i.e. the b96bf446ve nucleo board.

I know form other boards that one can use an external programmer. The ST programmer is the only device that's recognized.

Can someone help me????

Hi @Jan-Georg Krüger

Check the schematics of the Nucleo board (jumpers)

try "connect under reset"

Use STM32 Cube Programmer.

Not exactly a NUCLEO board

Is there an ST landing page for this, or a schematic?

0693W00000WKjKEQA1.jpgThis is the message I get, when I connect the board to the PC.

It says: 0 Voltage.

What is wrong there?

This is an old board without a lot of resources.

Absent a schematic you'll have to trace the circuit, and compare with NUCLEO-64 series boards.

The failure suggests that the ST-LINK/V2 is not seeing a supply, or have connectivity with the STM32 part.

Suggest you review how the board is supposed to be powered, or what other board it expected to sit on top of.

Check jumpers or solder bridges, or if VIN can be powered.

Reading the Manual suggests YOU need to provide 5V to the board

Hello, yea, you were very right. There is for instance the Dragon Board 410c, a SOC development board with Qualcomm processor, that hosts the board. This isn't a standalone board.

So all the problems came from a missing supply.

Thanks and goodby.

Hello, I tried to buy a Dragon Board, but they were out of stock there at Arrow, so anyway.
