How do you know you deleted it? May be just a driver issue on the PC side. It should show-up as a USB compound device with vid 0483 and pid 3752 having a child "ST-Link Debug (STMicroelectronics STLink dongle)" in the device manager (win) or lsusb (Linux).
The nearby unpopulated connector CN8 is used for flashing the ST-LINK. But afaik the firmware is not available to customers.
