Severe issues with the new ST website

Hi,

I do not want to be argumentative, but the new ST website is doing it wrong. Again.

Actually, it's impossible to download several softwares, tools or even datasheets in reliably manner. For example, if you go to the CubeF0 HAL web page:

https://my2.st.com/content/my_st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcus-embedded-software/stm32-embedded-software/stm32cube-embedded-software/stm32cubef0.html

the website says that the latest HAL version for the F0 is the 1.0.0 (which is clearly FALSE). Moreover, if you proceed downloading the package, you can see that it instead contains the 1.1.0 FW release.

A novice of this platform after 5 minutes goes away. Forever.

Just my two cents.

Hi harper.matthew,

1- Did you tried to download other packages from ST web site? Do you face similar issue there?

2- The Software License Agreement should be displayed when downloading the 1st time.

From this page I can download

https://my2.st.com/content/my_st_com/en/products/development-tools/hardware-development-tools/development-tool-hardware-for-mcus/debug-hardware-for-mcus/debug-hardware-for-stm32-mcus/st-link-v2.html

STSW-LINK004

STSW-LINK005

But STSW-LINK009 I get the license click through. click accept and nothing.

I just tried STSW-LINK008 which is linked elsewhere and that downloads (think these are older drivers for the ST-LINK/V2

PLEASE CORRECT THIS SITE's WEB SERVER.

From the US, clicking on topics takes 15 seconds on averege to get a response.

Is the web server on Mars?

Awful to the point I just can't tolerate how bad it is.

Perhaps.

According to

https://www.iplocation.net/

, it is located in Milan, Italia.

But users in Europe experiencing the same delays. As it has always been with this forum.

Obviously, the problem lies within ST, and it's website ...

ST: This is the slowest tech community server there is. Do it right, or don't.

IIRC, this forum is running MS's Sharepoint which is less than awful software in my experience. And it seems to be either on a grossly overloaded server or is using dial-up modems.

I would like to notice that the forum is no longer indexed by google, probably due to robot.txt configuration. It's no longer possible to search topics using google, and this is a huge problem, IMHO.
