Need 10 samples for a new product prototype. PCBs on the way now. None available in distribution. Can you help?
Thanks - Duncan

You might've stated your location, sometimes there are local suppliers which are not tracked globally.
The 'G070 is a lesser-tested cheaper version of the 'G071, of which there appears to be stock worldwide.

Jan,
We are located in Northern California. For the product we have designed in the ‘G070CB as it’s a very cost sensitive item. Ideally we would prefer to build and test our prototypes using this part. If the ‘G071CB is a true hardware & firmware drop-in alternative that should be sufficient for our prototype units.
How can we determine if there are ‘G070CB samples available?
Appreciate your help.

I am in Central Europe, so for example it's easy for me to get https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/microcontrollers/1962055/ and even easier https://www.tme.eu/en/details/stm32g070cbt6/st-microcontrollers/stmicroelectronics/ but I don't know whether they are willing to ship to US.
The STM32 models ending with 0 are usually identical chips with the non-0-ending ones, with less testing (which explains the "missing peripherals" - without testing they are as good as nonexistent) and lower temperature range (there may be some other testing -related features missing, e.g. the temperature calibration, or unique ID). The This does not mean ST could not make a dedicated chip with missing features in the future, but generally, you can substitute the "better" chip for the "poorer". The DEV_ID in DBG_IDCODE gives away that it's the same chip.

Just to avoid any possible misunderstanding: I am not ST. This is a primarily user-driven forum, with casual ST presence.
