I have ordered IKR001V1 DK from Digikey. I would like to confirm whether the latest firmware and GUI will be provided along with the kit. I couldn't find any online links for downloading the SDK.

My expectation would be that the board ships with what ever was current at the time of production. With many of the boards the support updates should be sought from your local ST rep or FAE.
Given the way info on this board presents on Google, and that marks the board NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs), and 16 month old data sheet, you'd really want to push into ST via a local rep, and query where in the life cycle the board/radio are. The NRND might relate to the older spin of the STM32L1 series, as there is a new variant of that. The board itself has not been much of a topic of discussion on this forum, but I really couldn't tell you if there is a more appropriate one.On a side note, I have accounts with Mouser and DigiKey, Mouser is almost always a cheaper source.2014-02-04 04:11 AM
Thanks for your response. I understand that the RF board is NRND. However it is important for me to know if the same product line is continuing. In ST web site the Sub giga hertz RF chip SPIRIT1 is still termed active !! Probably it is the RF daughter boards that are NRND. Do you have any guidance for me to contact the right person in ST to get answers for these questions ?? Thanks a lot.

I have my own contacts at ST, but as I explained they are regional.
