Dear Sirs,

On the web page http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/microcontrollers/stm32-32-bit-arm-cortex-mcus/stm32f3-series/stm32f302/stm32f302vd.html

Says the  operating temperature of STM32F302VDH6/STM32F302VDT6/STM32F302VDT6TR is from -40 ~105 degree, but from the datasheet of these P/N, it's -40~85 degree, which is true?

Thanks a lot,

Best Regards

Frank

Hi Frank,

Welcome to STM32 community!

On the web page, it says that the STM32F302xD/E family operates in the -40 to +85°C and -40 to +105°C temperature ranges from a 2.0 to 3.6 V power supply.

On the STM32F302xD STM32F302xE datasheet rev3 says the same message on the Description paragraph and on the General operating conditions table.

As it is described in the General operating conditions table we can reach 105°C for 6 suffix version in Low power dissipation state, please refer to your datasheet for more details.

Hi Syrine,

Thanks for the information. In the v3.0 datasheet, for example, if the package is LQFP100, we should calculate the PDmax of MCU, and following the figure 69 to find out the Ta, correct? So as U say, it's possible that Ta of the suffix 6 can be larger than 85 degree when MCU runs in low power mode.

But the figure 69 says the max Ta of suffix 6 is 105 degree when Pdmax = 0mW, I think it's meaningless in actual product design.

Is my understanding correct?

Best Regards

Frank
