Just did a quick check: When the link is up, the BMSR holds the value 0x784D, when I unplug the cable the value changes to 0x7849. So I can not see any problem here. (STM32F107RB, RMII)

Are you sure that the link is OK? Status LED is on?

Thanks ! i think it's ok now ! I was sure it was a software problem between my microcontroller and the PHY, but indeed it was the connexion between the PHY and the ethernet cable !
