Thanks for the info.

I tried the new version and it works much better than 4.11.0.

4.11.0 made a mess of my existing IAR projects.

4.12.0 still required some cleanup, but it was not too bad:

  • It had a mixture of 1.3.0 and 1.4.0 #include search paths.
  • It included both the 1.3.0 and 1.4.0 versions of startup_xxx.s

I fixed up seven projects in less than an hour.  The best news is that everything seems to run fine on the target hardware.
