On the Pinout screen, if you hover on a partly conflicted (yellow?) pin it says that if you hit ctrl+click it will show you the alternates.
That doesn't work on a Mac at least. (version 10.11.6) It doesn't do anything at all.I took the standard F4Discovery board and flipped some pins to match the ethernet layout on the discovery-bb board. This made the I2S and SPI pins PA[456] go into conflict. But it won't show me the alternates. Not a show stopper for me since I'm just using it for an article. Thanks,Andrei from The Great White North2016-09-23 12:55 AM
Hi Andrei ,
Thank you for your feedback. The issue has been reported internally.-Syrine-2016-10-07 02:11 AM
Dear user,
The yellow color means there are other pins that need to be configured to reach a functional peripheral mode.
When you have a pin conflict, this is shown on the peripheral tree as the peripheral mode not being accessible because some pins (for I2S slave for example) are already in use by another peripheral (SPI for example). In this case, ctrl-click on the SPI pins show in green on the pinout, to see the alternate pins highlighted in blue.
Best regards
