Audio - Beginning is cut off

Hi ,

I have a little problem with playing my audio buffer, after i init the audio codec,i am trying to play the audio,and its a little bit cut off at the begining,but if i play it in loop ,the second play will be ok and not cut off.

does anyone know why does it happen?

do i have to wait some time from when i init the audio codec to when i play?

maybe i need to pad the begining with some silence ?

After staring into my crystal ball for quite some time, the only thing I saw was some initial settling time of the codec and its output circuitry - and this was a rather blurry seeing as well.
