Hello everyone,
I am utilizing the IHM08M1 board for a Voltage Source Converter (VSC) academic project.
The IHM08M1 board's Gate Driver L6398 already incorporates a set deadtime of 320 ns for the control signals of LVG and HVG.
I would like to know if this dead time value is sufficient to prevent cross conduction of the MOSFETs on the IHM08M1 board (Power MOSFETs STL220N6F7) and shoot-through currents. If not, how can the "extra" dead time (to be implemented via software, i.e., microcontroller) be determined?
Thank you.
