Hello,
For our application, we have developed a brushless motor driver 1.5KW based on the EVSPIN32G4 circuit board.
We use a brushless drone motor with 14 pairs of poles (https://store.tmotor.com/goods-922-V605+KV210.html).
I use MC workbench 6.2.1 for the application.
After having profiled the motor and having found the best parameters for starting,
I encountered a problem concerning the maximum speed of the application:
The maximum speed of the application is set at 3200rpm and I cannot exceed 2300rpm.
At this speed of 2300rpm I reach the maximum current per phase of 40A while I only consume 400W on my power supply. The phase voltage seems not to be sufficient, and I cannot resolve the problem.
What parameter or functionality must be adjusted to increase the phase voltage ?
Thanks for your help.
Julien.

Hello JLC,
According to the material you sent and your comments, it seems you reached the maximum current set in your project, therefore the current controller will not go beyond that limit. I suppose you have a propeller mounted on your motor, then higher speed means higher load so higher current.
You can try to increase maximum current of the motor and the board if possible and regenerate your project.
Best regards

Hello DBE,
Thank you for following this post.
I changed the current measurement range.
I went from a +-45A reading to +-90A.
I changed the shunt resistance from 5m to 2.5m.
The motor works correctly and reaches a speed of 2400 rpm without any problems.
Beyond this speed I trigger the speed fedback fault each time.
Do you have anything to study regarding this problem?
Best regards.
Julien
