Greetings,
I would like to know what modifications are needed to increase the output peak current of STEVAL-ESC001V1 board from 30A to 100A. I understand that upgrading to higher-power MOSFETs is necessary—are there any specific MOSFET recommendations for this? Additionally, what other design changes would be required to support this increase?
Furthermore, I am interested in implementing the Dshort protocol. Does the current firmware support Dshort or Multishot protocols?
Looking forward to your kind insights.
Thanks!

Hello @Rahul10,
For the power part, you can have a look to what is used on EVLSERVO1 or STEVAL-l-CTM009v1 boards.
Only PWM ESC is supported, refer to UM2197 document.
Best regards.

Greetings, @GMA
Thank you very much for your response! I looked into the details, especially the MOSFETs used in the EVLSERVO1 they’re more than sufficient with their high current capability of 158A.
Additionally, I’d like to better understand what modifications are needed to make the STEVAL-ESC001V1 ESC compatible with the DShot protocol. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Rahul Mandal.
