STM32F429I-discovery Purple screen

Hello. This is my first week with MCU's. I choose STM and want to stick with it. But it makes only pain :) So I was able to make some GPIO to work but have a complete disaster with LCD. The board came with some demo firm, and it was erased. So I am dealing with a complete new firmware. My helper is a chat GPT but he cant fix my Purple screen. I want to print some basic text like "Hello" and have no luck. Adding code here. Please advise that else I can share so there will be a clear mistake I made. Thank you.

Thank you for the links. I am sure there is what I will need. As I understood files provided above are all code files right? There is no generic or demo all in one package for 29I-Discovery so I can upload it to the board? It looks like the code is not the biggest issue. My concern, i think I didn't assign (or did't assign all required) pinouts on chip and my peripheral setup is incorrect. 

So I am already stick myself to STM32 and would not change my decision, that's why sorry, but I will be a frequent asker here :)

So I have load the STm32f429I-Discovery board project in the cubeIDE. I have checked all the pinouts are the same as in the provided documentation. So I dont have purple display any more, but lines. Still no text. 

also I have downloaded folders with files. I have a "BSP" folder and "Demonstration". My best result for now is that I can see those folders in my project. Please advise how files should be added to a project? Via "Import" ? I am having hard times to figure out how to put all those files together and print something on a display.

Hello. I have a question regarding CubeIDE projects. While loading a STM32 project and choosing my Discovery board from the board menu - I want the program to load it with all pins assigned. And sometimes it work, but sometimes with the same sequence it is loading a completely clean project with no pins assigned. (typically there is a prompt asking to initialise peripherals). Is this a know bug? Thank you.

I have results now. I can display images now. With simple Text there was a problem. TouchGFX wouldnt display text in Run Simulator for some reason. Helped to uncheck box "Binary Font Files" any advise why this checkbox would not show text while run Simulator? Thank you
