I was trying to do file write operation on SD card and it worked for few days and now its giving "FR NOT ENABLED" error.

I was able to do file write operation on Sd card and usb both successfully , but after few days it is continuously giving me FR NOT ENABLED error, i formatted both devices and scanned if they might have malfunctioned it worked after formatting but now i have to again and again format both of them to make the file operation work. Is there any solution for FR NOT ENABLED Error? This error says there is not enough space on logical drive whereas the card is completely empty and has enough space.

From description not really got much idea about your hardware or software implementation.

The file system is dependent on the block level DISKIO functions working properly.

Hello @smore.1,

I'm not sure if this helps but generally when you use 5V supply voltage, SD Card module works better. So, it's important to ensure that the power supply is stable.

I am giving constant 5v supply for sd card and lets say if my pcb is not supplying constant voltage to the sd card i am running same code on development board it is also giving me same FR NOT ENABLED error, and when i scan the device and format it and then i do file read write operation it works .But to make FATFS work for my sd card module and also to usb i have to scan and format each time when i have to use it then only it works. My question is is it because of virus in the device ? Does virus affect the file operation for usb and sd card?
I need the solution for FR NOT ENABLED.
How can i make my system error free ?
What are the causes for getting FR NOT ENABLED error? And how can i tackle it?
